I agree. It’s very nice to see Nikki Renee Daniels IS covering Bobbie. Anisha Nagarajan is indeed the only Joanne cover, unless they’ve hired an uncredited standby.

They posted a video of the merch stand on their insta. It looks amazing.

Intermission.

Katrina is everything. She’s absolutely perfect and will only get better. Every problem I had with the production in London is no longer an issue here. It’s sublime.

More later but I have to pee.

Not even sure what to write. It’s absolutely sensational so far.
I’m happy to announce there are several updates to the orchestrations throughout. All of the tempos are played at a brisker and more lively pace than in London, and it sounds and feels great.
Jennifer Simard will likely get a Tony nomination. She is that good.
Lenk is lovely. Her Bobbie is anxiety ridden but she perfectly plays everyone’s best friend. She sounds good, and some keys sound changed.
Several numbers are basically stopping the show, as expected for the first preview.
The new title letters make sense when you see how they’re used.

Can’t wait for act two.

I am absolutely, 100% obsessed with this cast. Jennifer Simard took her scene and stole it. Her comedic timing is EVERYTHING. The actor who sang “Another Hundred People” is incredible.

I’m obsessed with Katrina Lenk and this cast. My GOD this is a gorgeous revival. I love it.

I took photos of the merch stand but I’m not sure how to put them in here while I’m on my phone. They have mugs, pop sockets, t-shirts, a sweater, a tote bag...and I think a magnet. That’s all I can remember!

Absolute gem of a revival. I’m already trying to figure out if I can see it again.

I’ve never gotten one but I’m seriously considering getting one for this show. It’s incredible.

I love the rasp in Katrinas voice. It threw me off at first since I’m use to the cast recording and her voice isn’t as “bubbly”, but I works well in Marry Me A Little.

Another Hundred People is staged beautifully- with the big letters moving around like she’s swiping yes or no on Tinder. I thought that was cute.

Not Getting Married didn’t get a standing ovation, but an extended applause. The dialogue that followed made a tear up a little - I felt chemistry (or I guess the lack of) between Jamie and Paul.

Rashidra’s costume is so ****ing cute.

SONDHEIM IS TWO ROWS BEHIND ME. he’s taking lots and lots of notes, as expected.

I think the scene where the smoke pot outside can be cut down a little because you can only say “bitch” and “ass” so many times before it’s not funny.

They could also cut some of the cellphone stuff out too. Like I get it, it’s modern lol.

The set and lighting are very beautiful.

Excited for Act 2.

I should’ve been Blac Chyna.

I’m sitting in the side mezz and looked behind me after Getting Married Today—there was one person towards the back who gave a standing ovation!

I'm dying to see this. I better get my ticket now.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Would you please report back about the view from mezzanine sides. I got one of those $59 partial view tickets from TodayTix and was wondering if I should be fine watching from that section. Thanks!

I was thinking the same thing about grabbing tickets!

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I would also like to know if they changed "Tick Tock" from the London version. is it still a nightmare scene? Or is it a dance number again? Or something else?

I don’t know how early they got there, but there were about a dozen people in like when I walked by at 7:45 this morning. Though first preview might not be indicative of future performances.
