Oh! I see. I thought his "you're" was referring to the person asking the question. Like I said, it rubbed me the wrong way because what purpose would it serve to be snarky during a Q&A? Your explanation makes sense. I guess I misunderstood. Updated On: 8/16/09 at 06:27 PM
He implied so many hints that he has groupies in that video.
I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&.
"Jayne just sat there while Gina flailed around the stage like an idiot."
His Ask a Star was defenitely one of the more honest ones lol I loved how he needed to bring two videos of the "adult arousal genre" on a desert island lol
Wicked Tour (2/26/08); Wicked Bway (7/1/08); HAIR (7/1/09); Rock of Ages (7/2/09); Wicked Bway (7/3/09); Mary Poppins Tour (8/2/09); Wicked Tour (11/18/09); Wicked Tour (12/5/09)
Constantine's answer about what movies he would bring to a deserted island was hysterical. That was a thoroughly enjoyable interview. Wonder if he will get thousands of bottles of shampoo in the mail...make that EXPENSIVE shampoo... Updated On: 8/16/09 at 09:06 PM
I thought it was great. The "he's a rock star and you're not" answer rubbed me the wrong way too but after reading responses to that, I definitely see how he could have been referring to himself.

ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."
I'm definitely not a fan. He and I share a mutual friend and I went with her to his dressing room after seeing the show. His dressing room has posters of himself on the walls and all he could talk about was himself...constantly bringing attention to his Tony nomination plaque and other things of that nature. Yes, it's great to take pride in your accomplishments, but for him it was just coming off as showing off. I definitely don't think he was worry of that Tony nomination. He stole it from James Barbour in my opinion.
You don't have to be a fan- but check the thread title. There must be a Barbour thread somewhere; although I wouldn't know where because I don't like him at all.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who questioned it. :) I really hope that he was just referring to himself. I hate to think that he would be THAT snarky to a fan who took the time to ask him a question on a taped Q&A for the whole world to see.
"His dressing room has posters of himself on the walls and all he could talk about was himself..."
I've seen videos of Constantine's dressing room and I'm willing to bet that most of the stuff he has displayed with his picture on it were gifts from fans - he gets alot of gifts - people make things for him.
He has every right to be excited about his Tony Award - it was a dream come true for him. I'm so happy for him. Also happy that he'll be back in ROA tomorrow night!
I like Constantine as much as the next ROA fan...however... his twitter thingies are so bizarre....
Today he writes: "Sux 4 u when u don't accept my frndshp & now u wanna be in MY show? Hmm.."
I feel like I am in some Broadway soap opera. And I don't understand anything that is going on.
This is so over my head. I follow Constantine on twitter...can I send him a message back...how does one do that...? PM me please if this is off topic. Thanks.
you can only message someone on twitter if they follow you. connie doesn't follow anyone.

You can reply to him, even if he is not following you. You can't direct message him. This is from Twitter regarding replies.
"What are @Replies?
An @reply is a public message sent from one person to another, distinguished from normal updates by the @username prefix. If a message begins with @username, we collect it as a reply. Reply publicly to any update on Twitter by using the @username format. Following is not necessary to reply to someone, and all of your replies are visible in the @username tab in your home page sidebar. (Tweets with @username elsewhere in the tweet are also collected in your sidebar tab; tweets starting with @username are replies, and tweets with @username elsewhere are considered mentions.)"
Jekyll & Hyde back on Broadway! / Rock of Ages - 5 Tony nominations! Awesome!
One of my favorite Constantine videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yI08RxMKt7U I don't know who took it and the audio isn't that good- but it makes me smile when I see it.
I was at the show the other night and there were screams and applause as he entered the stage & it make me smile too. <3
Lol, Jersey Girl2. I remember that video. I wanted to drive all the way to Charlotte for that event. I got chills back then at the crowd reaction to him.
Slow Burn. Hellz Yeah.
Jekyll & Hyde back on Broadway! / Rock of Ages - 5 Tony nominations! Awesome!
The first time I saw the show he entered at one point (I don't remember when exactly) and the crowd in the mezz was screaming his name and he looks up and goes "Who the F*ck is Constantine?" lol

This thread title is a little iffy. I've actually raelly enjoyed his performances in Jacques Brel and ROA, but as far as irresistible charm, I've gotten the impression that in real life, he is anything but. Sleazy? Maybe.
