Eeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry to hear Stokes didn't go through...
What an incredible quartet!
Vanessa Williams absolutely MUST sing one or more of Phyllis' songs from Follies.
Sounds wonderful. Though she does them incredibly well, I'm actually hoping we will hear Cook attack some other Sondheim pieces than those she has been singing for so many years in her cabaret show.
I'm excited for this too but with all the wonderful lyrics Sondheim has given us that would work as revue titles ("Art Isn't Easy" comes immediately to mind") Sondheim on Sondheim is the best they could do? It kinda sounds dirty.
So excited!
It's great to see that one of Broadways least-known composers finally gets a revue of his songs!
Whoa! Cook AND Williams!
Can't wait to see it. I'm going at the end of April.
I like this title a lot more than "iSondheim". And, this explains what the show is. It is Sondheim commenting on his life or "Sondheim on Sondheim".

This I GOTTA see!!!!
This isn't the entire cast. It's an 8 person cast...the other 4 haven't been released yet.

OK, now that's a cool poster!
Best Musical? Another Tony for Sondheim? I hope so!
~Steven
Def will be eligible for Best Musical. Is this first time Roundabout will be eligible for Best Musical?
And I'm so buying that poster when it's released. That is lovely.
This is a great cast. I am definitely hoping we get to enjoy Vanessa Williams' "Could I Leave You?" or even something like "Lucy and Jessie" or "Ah But Underneath" (while the former works better in FOLLIES, I think the latter is more likely to appear in a revue).
I'm soooo excited about the possibility of seeing Barbara Cook on Broadway! Though I'm with MichaelBennett in hoping that she sings some Sondheim numbers we haven't heard her tackle yet.
Sounds great!
Barbara and Vanessa singing "One Last Kiss"?
Leslie and Vanessa singing "Every Day a Little Death"?
Michael Arden "Being Alive"...
Wow, a new Broadway poster that doesn't necessarily make me want to vomit.
THAT POSTER IS EXCELLENT!
To the careful eye, they will recognize the letters and fonts spelling-out SONDHEIM are all taken from the logo-art from his previous shows!
HOW TERRIFIC IS THIS GONNA BE????!!!!
My only thought: Popular demand may make it impossible to get HipTix and/or the Access10 deals.
Is anyone else not able to see the poster?
I feel like the year 2010 could be very promising for Broadway!
