Does anyone know the current cast in NYC? I'm taking my dad and sister to see it for their first time and I was just wondering who's in it. Andy Karl still there? I heard about Mandy Gonzelez(I spelled that wrong) and I am soo excited to see her. But I love Andy Karl and I'm hoping he's still in it!
I am a bagel on a plateful of onion rolls. If you know what I'm talking about, good. If you don't, you're on your own!
In addition to the aforementioned trio, Rondi Reed is Morrible for a couple more weeks (Kathy Fitzgerald takes over on 6/29), PJ Benjamin is still phoning it in as the Wizard (seriously...two years is long enough already), and Alex Brightman (better than he's ever been) and Jenny Fellner (phoning it in as well) are Boq and Nessa. I'm sad to hear that PJ is phoning it in as the wizard, when I saw him on the tour several years back he was, no pun intended, wonderful.
"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel
Kathy is going to be great as Mme. Morrible. I adore Rondi, but it's time for some new blood in that role.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."
-John Guare, Landscape of the Body
Rondi Reed is amazing, but I also agree its time for a change. Alex Brightman as Boq is amazing! He's outstanding. And also, PJ Benjamin is supposed to be leaving this summer, sometime late July. On the like oz.wikia site or whatever they said the replacements name for a day, but I forget what it was. I haven't seen Mandy as Elphaba yet (I saw Jennifer Dinoia), and Katie Rose Clarke is a really good Glinda.
Ehh, sometimes. It's right a lot of the time though, like before it was announced it had Jackie Burns as the next 1st national tour Elphaba and so on. It gives you an idea to say the least haha.
I know how much u guys love oz.wikia, but I checked it again to even see if they updated Kathy Fitzgerald and the San Fran company, and under Broadway Replacements, it said this:
"Annaleigh Ashford will return to the role of Glinda on October 12, 2010"
Is it a rumor? It would make sense since Hair closed, but im not sure.
How's the current cast...especially HANNAH CORNEAU and GINNA CLAIRE MASON and have they been performing the Sunday matinee? I had heard Hannah has missed the Sunday matinee off and on.
"Anything you do, let it it come from you--then it will be new."
Sunday in the Park with George
Hannah calls out when she needs to. (Could be a Sunday Matinee, could be a Friday evening, but she doesn't have a pattern really). Ginna Claire is rarely out, and if she is, Brittney Johnson (standby) will post when she finds out.

I saw Brittney a few months ago and she was excellent. One of the best Glinda performances I've seen over the years.
Hannah was great too. Not my favorite Elphaba, but I can't pinpoint why.
