Does anyone know the current cast in NYC? I'm taking my dad and sister to see it for their first time and I was just wondering who's in it. Andy Karl still there? I heard about Mandy Gonzelez(I spelled that wrong) and I am soo excited to see her. But I love Andy Karl and I'm hoping he's still in it!
Mandy Gonzalez, Katie Rose Clarke, and Andy Karl are still in it. All three are top-notch.

The show is in the best shape it's been in for a while. Go see it.
In addition to the aforementioned trio, Rondi Reed is Morrible for a couple more weeks (Kathy Fitzgerald takes over on 6/29), PJ Benjamin is still phoning it in as the Wizard (seriously...two years is long enough already), and Alex Brightman (better than he's ever been) and Jenny Fellner (phoning it in as well) are Boq and Nessa.

Stephanie Torns has been on a lot lately as Elphaba, and shes fantastic
Stephanie Torns went on as Elphaba 3 times during Mandy's two week vacation. Jennifer DiNoia did the other performances.
3 times in 2 weeks is hardly "a lot."

I love Kathy Fitzgerald! We have 3 tickets in Orchestra, row CC for Tuesday July 13th!
I'm sad to hear that PJ is phoning it in as the wizard, when I saw him on the tour several years back he was, no pun intended, wonderful.
Kathy is going to be great as Mme. Morrible. I adore Rondi, but it's time for some new blood in that role.

I loved Kathy in 9 to 5 and am sooo happy she's back on the boards!
Rondi Reed is amazing, but I also agree its time for a change. Alex Brightman as Boq is amazing! He's outstanding. And also, PJ Benjamin is supposed to be leaving this summer, sometime late July. On the like oz.wikia site or whatever they said the replacements name for a day, but I forget what it was. I haven't seen Mandy as Elphaba yet (I saw Jennifer Dinoia), and Katie Rose Clarke is a really good Glinda.
The oz.wikia site is about as reliable as Fox News.
Ehh, sometimes. It's right a lot of the time though, like before it was announced it had Jackie Burns as the next 1st national tour Elphaba and so on. It gives you an idea to say the least haha.
I guess you haven't seen all the ridiculous things that have been posted there. It's right occasionally, but in most cases it's BS.
For the longest time, the oz.wikia site stated that Rosie O'Donnell was going to be the next Madame Morrible.
I agree with Elphaba3- it's absolutely not the least bit trustworthy.
Oh I didn't know that. Rosie O'Donnell? Really? haha. my bad

Wasn't it true that Jackée Harry (Sister, Sister) was going to play Morrible sometime before?
I know how much u guys love oz.wikia, but I checked it again to even see if they updated Kathy Fitzgerald and the San Fran company, and under Broadway Replacements, it said this:
"Annaleigh Ashford will return to the role of Glinda on October 12, 2010"
Is it a rumor? It would make sense since Hair closed, but im not sure.
It's generally a good idea to assume that everyhing on that site is false unless there's official word.
Does anyone know if HANNAH CORNEAU and GINNA CLAIRE MASON perform the Sunday matinee?
If so, how are they...if not, who does?
Yes, both perform the standard 8 performances a week schedule unless they’re sick or injured or on vacation. They don’t have matinee alternates.
How's the current cast...especially HANNAH CORNEAU and GINNA CLAIRE MASON and have they been performing the Sunday matinee? I had heard Hannah has missed the Sunday matinee off and on.

Hannah calls out when she needs to. (Could be a Sunday Matinee, could be a Friday evening, but she doesn't have a pattern really). Ginna Claire is rarely out, and if she is, Brittney Johnson (standby) will post when she finds out.

I saw them back in November. I thought they were both fine. It was my first time seeing the show so the only comparison I have is the cast recording.

I saw Brittney a few months ago and she was excellent. One of the best Glinda performances I've seen over the years.
Hannah was great too. Not my favorite Elphaba, but I can't pinpoint why.
