Wow. I still haven't seen this one as they had no rush policy. I'd like to at some point.

"That is sad, i am going to NY in early July hoping to see this. "
Um. It's closing at the end of June. :P
Cape-I got really good tickets (5th row orchestra aisle) at TKTS last summer. See if that can be budgeted. It's worth it. :)

I'm shocked. Stunned. What a shame that this wonderfully entertaining show will be closing. I'm so glad I had an opportunity to see it a second time recently.

I saw this coming soon.

The production team for NINE TO FIVE has been designing the early conceptual stuff for the set around The Hirschfeld since last year, so I can almost guarantee they will be the next tenant in the house come the fall.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Yesssssssss omg I'm going to be Allison Janney's BFF.
It really is a shame, though, especially considering it would have closed in August anyway.

Eh, I wasn't a huge fan of the show but it is too bad it's closing so soon...I thought it was doing alright as well. Good luck to the cast and crew moving on to other projects!

So sad to see this show closing....clearly Jill Paice leaving the show meant a decline in audiences....perhaps Gone With the Wind will take its place????
Oh, and btw, I'm being sarcastic :)

I was at Curtains on the 7th, and the mezzanine was practically empty. Only the front center was full. But the orchestra was quite full.

That's great! I wish it were always sold out. I was disappointed the mezz was so empty when I went.
