I describe our partial view seats on Page 1 of this thread.
Higher numbers are likely better than lower numbers in AA and BB, but there are parts of the set you won't see from up there at all.

Yes. Completely gone. They are probably scrambling to get patrons from cancelled performances into shows.

How can I get these?

i loved daddy! with the cancelled performances, i ended up going after the monday talk as opposed to before, which worked out. its not shakespeare, and angels in america isn't either, but daddy gave me feelings of angels. which is a huge compliment.
I wish they would extend or announce a transfer of some sort.

Saw this recently and I have mixed feelings about it.
Some possible spoilers ahead... I absolutely despised the first act, it felt unnecessarily long and meaningless, their drugged out scenes felt anything but drugged out. It wasn’t until the second act, with the arrival of the mother, that things started to pick up for me. By the time the second act ended I was entranced. The third act was mixed. There are some pretty out there unexpected moments. Overall I thought it was a good play, not great.
Yes, the set is gorgeous, but I feel that the swimming pool works against the production. The playbill labels this as a melodrama, but the swimming pool and most of the scenes in it end up feeling more like Blue Man Group. It really pulls you away from the moment when an actor goes to the edge of the pool and the first couple of rows start to giggle and prepare themselves to be splashed. It just felt out of place.
Also, I know that tickets were sold before the set was even built, but they should give out notices if you happen to have a ticket in the splash zone. Especially when some of the actors deliberately splash water towards the audience for no reason. It felt like two different shows at times.
edit: forgot to mention that I loved the curtain call, best one I’ve seen in a while, I liked the extra little touch that was put into it!

Looks like the entire run is sold out. Anyone know how to get a ticket to this show without having to become a subscriber / member? Any chance this could get extended? I really regret not taking advantage of the $10 discount Ticket Central sent out back in January.
Very few tickets for this on StubHub as well. Most dates have less than 10 or fewer tickets it seems. Best price right now is around $100 next Wednesday.. 1 ticket.

i suspect those reviews will improve both price and availability.
fwiw, I've been told the play cannot extend; the space is committed.
Also, Alan has to start shooting "Instinct" soon.

tbh it seems to me an ill-conceived circumstance that the two companies would invest in that elaborate (and, one presumes, expensive) set without any possibility of an extension. but the nice lady at the box office was very clear on the point.
I've always had the hunch this was being aimed for a transfer. But not with that Times review.

Not sure if this counts as a spoiler or not, but just to be safe I’m using the spoiler box... so after they do the regular lined up bows, they split into groups of 3, the choir, the friends and the family and each group walks to a different part of the stage and they all pose together. As they pose there’s a light change and a music queue. It was just a nice little touch they added at the end.
Someone actually took a picture and it’s up on Instagram:

Finally got to see this today and I thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact it actually exceeded my expectations. As I’ve mentioned I’m a HUGE Alan Cumming fan so I may be partial in that regard but I was so impressed by nearly every aspect of the production. I love theatre that leans towards the bizarre and this certainly didn’t disappoint. The set (including the pool) and lighting design may be one the most impressive things I’ve ever seen on a stage (and I’ve seen hundreds of shows). I was able to score a partial view ticket off stubhub (BB 23) and though it’s been mentioned pretty extensively these are truly PARTIAL VIEW seats. If we’re being honest I think it’s a pretty awful view and you will miss quite a bit of the show based due to the blocking and the design of the set. Thankfully (and surprisingly) there were a few empty seats in the orchestra so I was able to move downstairs after the first intermission and I got to get a full view of the stage. And THANK GOD because like I said that set was GORGEOUS. Really wish they were able to extend.

I know this show closes tomorrow but I finally saw it today. Overall, pretty disappointed. Harris should consider himself very fortunate that people were willing to throw that much money at his show. That isn’t the norm for emerging playwrights. There was so much going on-the pool, the dolls, the chorus and yet almost no narrative.
A lauded playwright once told me that your play should play in a basement with a few boxes as a set if it has a solid and compelling narrative. This felt like a “new” play written by a young person firmly entrenched in the digital era. It felt entitled, monied, self-aggrandizing and provocative for no reason.
It also felt like bits of recycled gay plays of the past.
I think Harris is no doubt talented but he needs to deliver a better narrative without bells and whistles. I didn’t like any of these people. Was that the point?
Franklin was really grating. He had no identity.
I think the actors were all marvelous. I just wish they were given some content worthy of them. Franklins mother was really the only character with a compass and some gravitas.
I find Hari Nef very compelling. I want to see much more of her.
I think Peet was a good sport. He really consented to doing a lot of vulnerable things that in the end felt unnecessary and gratuitous.
In the end I felt very little. Was that the point?
And that last act was a dramaturgical nightmare. I couldn't believe that not only got out of several readings but that two different companies put so much money into it. First two acts were promising but that last act, oof.
