I'd love to see Garrett Clayton as Lola. Her "Whatever Lola Wants" would be fabulous. Hopefully they retain Bob Fosse's original choreography for this.
Cranston referred to a re-imagining. I hope so. The last revival was seriously dated and provided evidence that Damn Yankees is not in the same league as Pajama Game, also by Adler and Ross. The score has a few good songs but the book needs serious work.
Jane did the Encores production, and it was fully staged with sets and costumes and no scripts, the Summer Star series was quite nice, too bad it didn't last. Jane was very good, although some weren't overly enthused with her dancing, I believe they used all of the original Fosse choreography.
I'll add my vote for Krakowski. This brings back memories as my first Broadway show was the 94' revival with Neuwirth.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Only if Rosie O'Donnell plays Applegate.
Back to Lola - Mara Davi, any day. Of course, she could do Gloria too. But it's time for her to shine.
Gwen Verdon was about 30 when she did this role. Bebe Neuwirth was closer to 40. Brenda Braxton must be north of 50. Although I have to admit that sexiness (and of course a lot of talent) is more important than age, I would prefer to see someone more Verdon's original age in the role. Shoot me.
As much as I love Mara Davi, I think she's probably too young for the role.

I saw and loved the 1994 revival with that insanely good cast, but in the years since people have been really critical towards it. I know that people can be harsh towards a first revival, either because it's too different or too similar, but I'd never seen the original or the movie at the time and I loved the revival.
