Yes, congratulations to Nicole for having a part that only requires her to park and bark her two big numbers and run around in a circle flailing about the stage at one point, but is otherwise mostly stationary."
And she’ll win the Tony, so there’s that.

Yes, I believe so as that seems to be the buzz from my industry friends and after the Broadway spring conference that the road prenters loved DBH and it was a big hit! So we shall see om 3 weeks!

Glad to hear. I suspected this would be the case.

I'll be watching the show next Sunday and still trying to decide between matinee or night performance to see Megan. Any tips?
But honestly, don't think it wins the Tonys, doesn't fit the mold.

I say Thursdays - Saturdays are really the best bet. Other than that go to the BO a half n hour before curtain to see if she’s in

Out of the five nominated shows, DBH would tour the best, though I still don't think it wins Best Musical. It's clearly the darkhorse, as the other four shows are more superior.

It really is a delight. I know Maybe Happy Ending is the frontrunner for Best Musical, but I would be just thrilled if Death Becomes Her pulls it out.

They didn't do a Wednesday matinee this week and are doing 4 shows over the weekend instead (two Saturday, two Sunday). According to BroadwayDirect, Simard won't be in the Sunday matinee.

Megan was out Tuesday. I'd bet money both Hilty and Williams call out of one show this weekend. Or all three will be out on Sunday. Otherwise, I wonder if Dee Roscioli will make their Helen debut on Sunday?

According to Understudies.org Simmard wont do evening on Sunday, but they dont have anything for matine. Could they swap the info or is she missing both?
I only have saturday matinee or both shows on sunday to see this and was scratching my Head to decide a date I could see both.
I guess saturday matinee with the possibility of not having Megan is my way to go.

Have any of them ever done a full 8 a week? This really sucks.

When your two leads have to shriek for 2.5 hours, they won't be able to do their job no matter how talented they are.

Conflicting reports on if Simard is out Sunday afternoon or evening. Regardless, it still seems like Ellis is the first cover for Helen and Roscioli is the main cover for Madeline.

That has nothing to do with anything. It is obvious at this point for those following hat both ladies only do a certain number of shows a week. What is ugly about it is the lack of transparency and the guessing game the audience that wants to see them has to do. BTW.. they are both fine and in excellent voice for all the extra appearances and promotions. You don't see them calling out of Ham4Ham or Tony lunches or GMA.

If they can show up for Ham4Ham, shouldn't they also show up for the people who paid $150 to see them at their actual job?

I’m surprised at all the love for Cox. I’ve seen her in several productions and have yet to hear her sing on key. She’s always flat and caterwauling. Not pleasant.
Im all for non-traditional casting but Alex doesn’t seem glamorous in the ways the role requires. I wonder if Sherie Rene Scott would be interested. I think she’d be great. She’s a great actress and can do camp and serve b*#chy.
As for the continuing attendance issues I think both actresses know they aren’t getting a Tony and aren’t going to lose sleep over missing shows. Meanwhile Nicole goes on steroids to keep singing and not miss shows.
For those saying the attendance isn’t a problem, the fact that you have patrons trying to plan when would be best to see both in the same show is a major problem. It’s a topic of conversation. Begs for a transparent alternate schedule.

Take it up with production, not them. Ham4Ham, Tony Lunches, GMA are all promotion for the show. Its not like they're doing any of it because they want to.
