Oh man, too bad this is in Utah and not on Broadway, I'd pay $100 to see this. If anyone finds a video, please post it. Thanks!
I’d be there in a heartbeat. I can’t even find very many pictures yet.

I still can’t believe during Idols Andrew Lloyd Webber night he decided to do Think of Me instead of Close Every Door. Maybe I’ll finally get to see some video.
Wow and it's pretty much sold out for the dates David Archuleta is performing.
Ah well. I would have watched this!

Really?! Wow, this is not even in Salt Lake City, it's in the south of Utah, I'm shocked to hear that David is selling out a Broadway musical in the middle of nowhere.
I get a kick of him coming out of the closet and doing a musical where he wears a coat with the colors of the rainbow...super cute.
It is a 2 hour drive from Las Vegas. People from all over Utah go to the Tuacahn, and It is about an hour from Zion National Park, & 1:20 from Bryce Canyon. So some of the closest entertainment for all the people visiting those parks. During the summer months (May-September), Zion sees about 3.5 million visitors. That's about 20,000/day vs the estimated 400,000/day tourists NYC gets.
The Utah Shakespeare Festval in Cedar City is also an hour away.
On the West Coast people are used to driving long distances. Lots of people do the 4-ish hour drive one way from LA to Vegas just for a weekend.
Thanks for the information above!

Summer theater in Western states is very popular. I've been to several sold out performances of the Sundance Resort's summer musical in Utah.

He’s so cute!
This is the theater company that runs three shows in rep during the summer. So at the most , they're performing JOSEPH 4 times a week.
Performing 4x a week gives a better work-life balance.
Wow, that's a name I haven't heard in years...
Brings back memories!!

Amazing star casting, he can really sing these songs amazingly well, and not too bad to look at either!
From Jason Donovan to Donny Osmond and now David Archuleta. It's perfect casting.
They changed Pharaoh from Elvis to Tina Turner? Is this a known thing they do or is this production taking liberries?
Looks good. I'm going in October, so will miss seeing Archuleta.
I do wonder about the Tina Turner change since Tim Rice has had issues in the past with companies changing lyrics in Joseph, and in the clip it’s clear they removed one of the Elvis references.
Maybe this was their way of making the show more inclusive? Though they perhaps could have hired a womyn of color as the narrator instead?
I'm watching the stories on instagram, really fun! I missed when he sang for ALW on American Idol! I love them!!!
BWW you guys really killed it with the stories, David telling the dog she has more experience than he does in musicals hahaha. Everyone on BWW should watch the stories...I hope he brings the show to Broadway. David should have his Broadway debut. The entire cast seem full of talent and positive vibes and thrilled to be in the show.

Most licensing agreements have standard clauses prohibiting changes to a show’s time period, location, dialogue, lyrics, etc., but the Theatre can always request special permission to make changes prohibited by the agreement. Considering they not only changed the Pharaoh’s gender and pronouns in lyrics referencing her, but also altered the style of orchestrations of The Pharaoh’s Song to suggest Tina’s rather than Elvis’s style, I would bet they got permission to make those changes.

The takeover was great. David is adorable. It was very similar content to the most recent insta lives he’s been doing since the show opened but more day in the life.
