I sat in that exact seat when I saw the show during previews. Back then, it wasn't sold as a partial view, but I got it for 50% off at TKTS, so I couldn't complain. That being said, the stage is high, and the front row is very close to it, so you'll be looking up the entire time. I don't remember missing anything significant, since just about all of the action and dialogue takes place downstage, but I couldn't see the actors' feet unless they were at the lip of the stage, and anything going on towards the rear of the stage was pretty much lost. Even though it was great to see Ben Platt's physical performance up close, I wouldn't want to sit there again. It's just too uncomfortable.
