"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

Right now? Umm probably Skid Row(Downtown) from LSOH, but generally the entire LSOH soundtrack.

"It does what a musical's supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue."

"Sugar"- TTB

And, for some odd reason, "Part of Your World" from the Little Mermaid.

I seriously wake up every morning with a different Broadway song stuck in my head. Every morning. No joke. This morning it was "Safe in the City" from Taboo. Yesterday it was "Louder than Words" from Tick, Tick... BOOM!

Pretty much anything from SFANW, but those songs in particular.

Great music, but it gets SO annoying...

Favorite?

The Girl Gets Around (Footloose) gets in there pretty often. But it's fun to sing out.

The most annoying earworms are from Rent. I like the music enough, but the most annoying lines get stuck in my head.

Dancing Through Life from Wicked. Every. Single. Mother. Freakin'. Day. But I love having that song stuck in my head, because there's so many different parts to it!

"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."

It was Uptown Girl right after I saw Movin' Out, and I only knew a few words from it...it's the worst when a little section of the song just plays over and over. Finally I bought it on iTunes and everything was good again...

I had Dance 10, Looks 3 running through my head all week, and it's definitely not something I should be walking around singing.

"At the Ballet," from A Chorus Line, is my latest one.

Though I have to say, Sunday in the Park With George has been the dominant soundtrack in my head for most of this month. :)

It could be my ADD, but I tend to get single lines, not entire songs stuck in my head. Of late these two bits (which are actually kind of similar in composition) have been spouting out of my mouth at various inappropriate moments.

"What we have here is an ethical dilemma..." - LSOH

"Don't be offended by frank analysis, think of it as personality dialysis..." - Wicked

Hamlet's father.
