Since noms are getting their own threads, I'm starting one for Stark Bunker Sands.
Talent, Looks etc. etc. etc.
I'm celebrating him today.

This pretty much sums up my feelings about that performance...

Tony Stark makes you feel
He’s a cool exec with a heart of steel.
As Iron Man, all jets ablaze,
He’s fighting and smiting with repulsor rays!
Amazing armor! That’s Iron Man!
A blazing power! That’s Iron Man!

Yes, SNAFU. It's kind of an issue. Do you think I should get it checked?
P.S. sorry about the size of that last Stark gif

Posted: 4/30/13 at 7:36pmHe's playing a part that about 4800909023980925 other young men could play and do. He's not bringing anything interesting or different to the role.

Posted: 4/30/13 at 7:42pmOh I didn't realize we had to be nominated for a Tony in order to have an opinion. Did someone forget to give me a memo?

Posted: 4/30/13 at 8:06pmIt is called an opinion. I for one don't think we should award people Tonys because they have a nice smile.

Posted: 4/30/13 at 8:07pmCan't we celebrate someone and their nomination without campaigning that he will win? I think some of us have leaned towards that.
#17Everybody say STARK!
Posted: 4/30/13 at 8:18pmI think it's great he was nominated, but I don't think he's giving any sort of amazing performance. Like I said in another thread, if you look at what the character is on paper and then look at what he did, well, it's fine. It's pretty typical. If you look at what Bertie did with that character it's a marvel.

Posted: 4/30/13 at 8:20pmAnd that's fine. He's like Bradley Cooper at the Oscars this year. The nomination itself is great. It could have been Anthony Warlow.

Posted: 4/30/13 at 10:58pmI wasn't fond of Kinky Boots in general, or his role, but I do think he's ridiculously talented.

Well...
I haven't said this out loud to anyone before, but since this very specific opportunity has arisen...
I watch this clip on a loop, just so I can see the "jiggle".
(Shhhhh... Don't tell.)

Posted: 5/1/13 at 2:21ambtw... was there any specific reason Stark Sands didn't do Bonnie and Clyde on Broadway?
