I’ve gone to the box office several times the past few weeks without success. The last time I was there I asked about rush and the attendant stated they’re not doing rush for the remainder of the run.

Virtually all of the remaining performances are sold out.

Yes, I went there on May 8 and the person at the Box Office told me the entire run was sold out with a couple of tickets for the evening performance on May 9 that was a night when Kelli was out.
The only rush tickets (about 10 per performance) is virtually the only way to see the show, I even tried cancellation line but without success.
Question: do you guys know if I have to watch live from BroadwayHD to see the performance or will likely stay there at least for 24 hours?

I know they’re streaming the show tomorrow, but are they doing a practice run or something? Here tonight and there are 7 cameras in the orchestra alone.
EDIT: Scott Ellis spoke before and said they were recording it for Broadway HD tonight. Show was great

I just read the livestream won’t be available to people who have BroadwayHD as an Amazon add-on.

Does Broadway HD still offer a free 'trial membership"? I searched online and don't see any offers.

I like how they give the livestream the authentic feel - showtime of 7 but at 7:06 still waiting for the curtain to go up! :)

I can’t even get the app to load on AppleTV. I hope they do an encore.

What a glorious romp. Made me realllllllllly wish I was able to see it in person.
As said upthread, that set was breathtaking.
And this was a shot infinitely better that the Merrily movie. :)

Still so mad that I got my husband into this show and by the time I got around to it, it became the most impossible ticket in town 😡

Thanks to BroadwayHD's streaming of Roundabout's revival, I caught Rose Byrne and Kelli O'Hara's Tony-nominated performances. They play Jane and Julia, two upper-class, British gal pals who get progressively sloshed as they hope to reunite with a former French lover they both romanced in the past. Byrne and O'Hara are a riot in this 1925 three-act comedy as they fall over furniture, try to light cigarettes and stumble over the stairs in David Rockwell's ritzy-looking set. Alas, Coward's play is a victim of its ''Fallen'' archness. It's so slight and takes so long to set up or pay off. And none of the men in this production (Christopher Fitzgerald and Aasif Mandvi as their dull husbands or Mark Consuelos as the former flame) ever catch fire as Byrne and O'Hara's comic foils, so this ''Fallen'' farce staggers its way to the end.

An encore is already available on BroadwayHD to stream.

Just so no one misses it, BroadwayHD stated the stream will only be available for two weeks:
"BroadwayHD will host Noël Coward’s "Fallen Angels” for two weeks after the livestream performance on June 5, 2026."
So grateful to have this option to see the show!

I thought Christopher Fitzgerald was good, though I agree about the other two. Tracee Chimo was OK. You are right about it being a slight play, but the two stars are delightful and make it worth seeing.

Director Maria Friedman has addressed this and stated that she deliberately avoided wide shots and full-body choreography. The tight close-ups allowed the camera to capture every subtle muscle twitch, fleeting glance, and tear. It was a creative choice and not an oversight. The traditional pro-shots stick to traditional camerawork so don't expect the MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG framing device in any future pro-shots of stage work.

Oh, I’ve read as much. I just strongly disagree with that choice!

Caught this last night and thought Rose Byrne and particularly Kelli O’Hara were perfection. They both rise to the occasion, even if it’s kind of lesser Coward. Their physical comedy alone was hysterical, but I thought their timing and choices overall were just fantastic. If this were back in the day, I could see them taking this comedy duo act to movies and tv shows. It’s very Vivian Vance and Lucille Ball.
The costumes? Heaven. The set? Gorgeous.
The rest… I’m not so sure. Christopher Fitzgerald fares the best of the rest of the cast, I guess, just by virtue of him being an innately silly person. Tracee Chimo got on my nerves approximately 10 seconds into her performance and stayed there the whole time. Aasif Mandvi was essentially a non-presence. And the less said about Mark Consuelos, the better.
Overall, I’m glad I saw it. Those ladies earned those Tony nominations and Kelli got to show a really fun side of herself that I think producers need to take note of.
