It's nice to see that Captain Kirk let Terri White off of the Enterprise long enough to attend the opening night.
I was just about to say there's a Star Trek theme here. Colleen's hat looks straight out of "The Trouble With Tribbles."
I immediately regretted harping on the hat when I saw that picture. I guess David Bowie and Tilda Swinton have started a clothing line together.
Clearly, Mary Tyler Moore and Barry Manilow use the same plastic surgeon.

Posey and Jackson look like the most awkward fag/hag prom photo ever.
Those photos are hideous!! Whats with all the closeups of these old broads???
Elaine Paige's hair is also quite........lovely?
Is it just me or do the turtle necks just seem to get higher and higher each year?
If I went to school with this nerd, I would have beat her up.

I wonder if BWW will ever fix the way the site links the names of actors. Did you know, for example, that the actress who plays Young Sally was also a lyricist for Five Guys Named Moe? Me either!
"And gorgeous Mary Beth Piel looks like she just passed the borders of Shangri-La"
The words "Have you ever dreamed of a place, far away from it all?" are now stuck in my head.

So with these reviews, Maxwell may be more of a front runner for the Tony than Bernadette, right?
Safe to say.
And uncageg---my apologies!
Phyllis, if we went by that rule, Cheno would have beat Idina.
Bernadette got some pretty great notices also. But the spectar of Audra always lurks. And an Evita is arriving also.
I think in terms of the Tonys, it will really depend on any chance of this production extending. There are, of course, an awful lot of revivals opening later in the season, and performances from shows that have closed rarely win in the musical catagories.

Oh, I know all that. I was just harkening back to the notions that people were carrying a few months ago, that this was Bernadette's award to lose and how Jan Maxwell was going to submit herself as featured because there was no way to stop the Bernadette train.

That Mary Tyler Moore photo makes me sad.
I actualy gasped when I got to the MTM photo.
Besty, no apology needed! I love that entire soundtrack. Now I just hope it is on my computer as my disc copy is in storage...in Denver!

I'd like to see Chucky do "Broadway Baby."
He's obviously too busy planning next years Broadway Barks.
"Or a new dress, in this case."
According to Brantley, it's both: "The new wig and dress help to play down her natural radiance..."
I hadn't realized she was wearing a wig until I read it in the review.
I'd love to see Chucky do Broadway Baby.
Barbie can play Phyllis, Raggedy Ann and Andy can be Sally and Buddy. Ken can be Ben, and Betsy Wetsy can be Carlotta.
... in Stephen Sondheim's "Dollies."
Sorry but if Barbie is going to play Phyllis, Skipper MUST play Sally.
