Last 5 Years and then Wicked... But he was more cute in Last 5 Years...
Kristin Chenoweth could barely control a Great Dane she trotted onto the stage. "Great, they gave me a dog that weighs five times what I do", she quipped. For the record, she weighs 93 pounds, and has a Maltese.
I've only seen him in two shows, Wicked and DRS, and out of those two I liked hime more in DRS because he has a bigger part in DRS than in Wicked, and he's just so hysterical in DRS than he was in Wicked. So I would have to say DRS. ________________________________________________________________ "To conquer fear, you must become fear." -Batman Begins
THE LAST FIVE YEARS. What a brilliant, nuanced performance, in one of those great musicals where the characters feel completely real and familiar. DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS may be where he steals the show, but THE LAST FIVE YEARS is his most fully-realized performance.

I've seen him in every show mentioned with the excpetion of the Cabaret tour. Definitely The Last Five Years. All the way. But I loved him in everything - even Wicked although Fiyero is a boring character.

He was freakin' fantastic on the CABARET tour. That was my first experience with Norbert: I saw his Emcee in Toronto and exclaimed, "That actor is amazing!"

Having seen Norbert in The Last 5 Years, Wicked, DRS, AND in Thou Shalt Not (yes I'll even admit to that!)....I would have to go with either DRS or Last Five Years. Acting-wise in DRS and singing-wise in TL5Y. HOWEVER, for anyone else who saw the mess that was Thou Shalt Not...Norbert was the one shining star in it. It was such a promising show that never came together. There were parts that were supposed to be serious that came across as hilarious....like in the scene in the boat when Norbert is supposedly murdered and then all of a sudden he leaps back on the boat and they have to beat him back off again.....or when he comes back as a ghost.....the book Therese Raquin that it based on is actually a good read...too bad the show couldn't live up to. At least Norbert was entertaining in it!

the last 5 years. totally and completely. i saw norbert in both wicked and dirty rotten scoundrals and ive listened to the L5Y recording over and over and all i can say is...that man can SING.
I'm probably going to be the only one to say this, but I'm going with Wicked, mainly because it is the show that I first heard him in. And truly, he saved the show for me. I was a hardcore fan of the book, and were it not for the amazingness that was "Dancing Through Life," I probably would have been outraged rather than slightly irritated with the complete bastardization of the character Fiyero had been in the novel. Norbert's wonderful voice drew me in, in spite of the fact that Fiyero had been my favorite character. Thus began my road to being a huge Norbert fan. So I'm picking Wicked purely on sentiment.
