Hadestown will release a collection of songs from its Broadway cast recording to the public on June 7, and then continue to release music in batches afterward. Before then, Vulture is exclusively bringing you 3 of the musicals best-loved songs.

When I click on the Soundcloud links, it says it isn't available. Anyone else, or is it just me?
Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

This is just weird. The article says "The label and producers will continue to release songs in batches" but doesn't identify the label. From Soundcloud, the songs are being released by Sing It Again Records, which certainly sounds like something that was started just for this show, but there's nothing on the hadestown.com website about it.
I'm still hoping for a complete version, ideally on CD with a nice booklet, though I'd happy settle for just all the songs.

The new Broadway musical Hadestown, which opened to critical praise April 17, will release an Original Broadway Cast Album June 7 on all major digital and streaming platforms. A two-CD recording will arrive in stores at a later date to be announced.

I’m not buying it until we get an official announcement from Hadestown. This article is filled with spelling and grammatical errors and something seems off about it.

I always thought this was a quick turnaround for their album. And Patrick Page stopped doing a countdown to the release on Instagram, unless I’ve just missed them. That being said, it sounds great and I can’t wait to get the whole thing.
Also, they did a similar thing with the Off-Broadway recording, teasing us with like four songs and then making us wait forever for the rest, which was real annoying.

Wait for Me sounds great, but with all due respect to Mr. Carney, I wish there was a way we could get a recording of Eva Noblezada and Damon Daunno opposite each other.

Also worth noting that they released a video on YouTube today titled “From Hadestown, with love” that includes the full “Road to Hell II” track, which also sounds terrific. Man, I just want to whole thing.

The soundcloud links aren't even showing up in the article.
So is the album coming out next week or no? I'm super confused.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Are you using the link in the first post orsomething else?

I can get it to work if I choose "listen on browser" but not if i click on soundcloud. Odd

thats cause they hid the songs on Soundcloud, only allowing backlinks that embed the tracks in another webpage, so people won't use "Soundcloud downloaders" to rip the songs off the webpage
Quite a few albums are dropping on the 7th including Kiss Me, Kate, Beetlejuice and Lara Benanti’s My Fair Lady EP, but I think it’s a mistake not to have the Hadestown album up before the Tony Awards.
In many ways I prefer the live NYTW CD. I like Chris Sullivan as Hermès and I think the band sounds tighter. I also prefer Damon Daunno’s vocals, although I don’t hate Reeve Carney.
