I'm uber excited for the DVD. I'm such a commentary whore, I love it. And since there's a lot of stars, hopefully we can get multiple commentaries. I love hearing what actors and directors have to say.
I want to see the cut footage.. I'm still sad about Halloween and Goodbye love..

the most random people bring up the rent movie, and i'm a 'quiet fan', so most people don't know i'm obsessed with it. it's cute to hear what they thought of it, since obviously i have a pretty biased opinion.
All these freshmen boys from my graphics class keep coming up to me asking me if I have AIDS. They think I think it's hot. It's the most demented thing ever.

I'm very excited for the DVD, cause I only see doubles of movies once I've seen everything at least once. Walk the Line and Good Night and Good Luck are next for me. Then, probably Rent, cause those are the only movies I wanna see.
By the way, Color Purple buzz isn't that good (just like Little Women). Haven't seen it yet, but I think that the buzz should be on Chita Rivera. That's the real flop of the season.
Sorry for diverting the topic.
Can I interest anyone in a chat in the chat room?

that is pretty demented...
i'm so excited for some outtakes. and i think they should do a section simply on adam's hair. it definitely deserves its own reel.

Oh I can't wait to see the movie again. 3 1/2 times so far....and I only have like $30 left in my checking account (rock) but that won't stop me! This weekend I will be rocking out in the theater once again.
Fredi, still wanting to make sure you're going to be at the 10th anniversary, but I was also wondering (if you're allowed to discuss) if you can tell us any further information about it. ?

Ntg-- that is sick.
yankeefan-- def. agree about walk the line, filmed in my hometown and my cousins are in it... everyone go see it.
and I've heard only good things about the color purple...
I had to teach someone SOL today, because they were not singing it right at all and it was driving me insane.
I think I'm going to have my touring group do SoL.. I get to pick some of the music this year.. so I'm thinking of adding Newsies and SoL.. I need one more group number though

Man, we're all going to go into debt until the DVD comes (can't wait to see the cut scenes!) Well, so far my hairdresser is going tonight... i'm taking my co-workers on Friday (who think i'm nuts.. i keep trying to talk to them about it and they have no clue)... my other friend is going for her third or fourth time sometime this week. I saw it with my mom.. trying to get her to go back with my dad...
I heard somebody today who thought it was 10,000 minutes and was trying to get it to fit with the rhythm. I was like...good luck on that one...glad your year is so short.

has anyone noticed itunes lately? rent is the number one album, and the songs are pretty much dominating the soundtrack section. i got a huge kick out of it. i mean, NUMBER ONE?
kinda like a freshman at my high school trying to sing today 4 u and dancing like a wild cat in the halls - the principle came up behind her and was standing there looking angry for a good 5 minutes it was hysterical

God, how I don't miss high school.
Hopefully they go out and pick up the OBCR, and go see the show.
OMG NTG that's funny.. My friend in Reno asked me about it today.. She was waiting to hear my thoughts on it before she went to see it.. I told her GO, and take tissue.. She doesn't know the stage show..
Hey Fredi!
I know I'm definitely going back to RENT this weekend. Twice is sooo not enough!
Hello Fredi, love it when you're around. I'm a big fan and the OBC is still my preference. On my way out the door in a few minutes for my 4th viewing of RENT and I'm taking two people with me. Going again tomorrow with my brother, and I'm hounding everyone I know to go. We all need to bust into the piggy bank and support this movie. Take out a small loan, pawn somethin'...... : )

No matter how hard it is to see these people think they're real RENTheads... I really do love that Jonathan's message and all the really important messages of RENT are getting out there. Peoples' minds need to be opened.

Oh, another discussion that made me laugh:
"Hey, you know what I found out?"
"What?"
"You know Rent? It's based on a *play*!"
"Wow, really? I didn't think they did stuff like that in theater!"

well, actually, the OBCR is #27. so they're both being circulated.
it seems that people who are unfamiliar with the material/stage show LOVE the movie.
