Fredi Walker! Wooooot! It's really nice to hear from you :) Please share an anecdote from when you played Joanne in the OBC! Which of the original cast members are you closest with? I've seen the movie a few times already and, though Tracie is a great performer, you are the definitive Joanne Jefferson to me. What is your favorite song in the score? Which was most challenging for you to sing? I love listening to you on my iPod. You really bring down the house in Take Me Or Leave Me. Yeah, you rule.

NO DOUBT! I was thinking if I couldn't get in for the actual show that I'd hang out afterwards to try and meet the peeps, and then realized if I'm going to do that I might as well stuff myself in a phone booth with 20 people while I'm at it. It's going to be C-R-A-Z-Y that night. --- Seriously, whoever mentioned it, it would have been a damn good idea to have it in a place like MSG, or even Radio City. I know that would take away from the magic of being back at the Nederlander for you OBC though...sigh.

the thing i hate about the 1000 dollar tickets... is that what RENT is all about is ... la vie boheme... starving artists... jonathan's struggle to make it... the people who the message really means something to and appreciate the story... and these are exactly the people that could never afford the 1000 dollar tickets. the people who actually care something about seeing the OBC because its the OBC of RENT.. the real deal... and not an important night in theater history are the ones who wont be able to go.

Beka, this "true" Rent fan is planning on going is definitely not stuffy (or paying with rich daddy's credit card). I was just determined to go and I'm making it happening. It was announced last summer, if it meant that much to the "common Rent fan" they would have started saving their money up.

I think considering the circumstances, it's very fair- anyone can get an invite if they want. Usually to get to these events, you have to know someone who knows someone- it's not available to the public. And what other show has done a lottery for an event like this? Yes, chances are slim, but that first row will still be filled with Rentheads.

Hi again Fredi! It is great to see you again! I;ve been to the movie twice (paying that is) andam going again this weekend and dragged i dont know maybe 10 or more people! I wiwsh i culd go more, but I dont have much money

I would LOVE to go to the reunion...but I'm afraid my chances are absolutly 0 because when the lotto is finally online, I will be recovering from my surjury and wont be able to see at all to go for it But have fun!!!

And I feel your pain about auditions. I have one saturday for American university musical theater program and one Dec 9 for point park....I'm so not prepared but I am working on it
