Coming along nicely?

Filming ended in December 2006. It already had it's first test screening. The film opens in movie theatres in 3 months (Friday July 20, 2007).

That was a total rip-off that they didn't show it on INSIDER. I did like the stuff from yesterday and the day before on ET, though! :)

I'm so happy they kept "(The Legend of) Miss Baltimore Crabs)"!

I'm really liking the flashback scene in that song (from just the brief clips we've seen).

Is there still a new song for Michelle Pfeiffer? In an interview some time ago, Marc Shaiman said that he wrote a new song for Velma. What was up with "Big, Blonde & Beautiful" with the candles and the slow walking? After I saw that, I was like... "Okay?"

I'm guessing the candles and the slow walking scene is "I Know Where I've Been" not "Big, Blonde & Beautiful."

I know beggers can't be choosers, but if the only way of putting something on the web is filming your TV screen, PLEASE set the camera down on a tripod, stack of books, coffee table...

(unfortunately, that goes for a LOT of the stuff on the SiteThatMustNotBeNamed)

Marc said he would show his Hairspray collaborators this drawing when I sent it to him last Summer. I have a feeling great minds just think alike.

I am very excited to see Timeless to Me, this way.

Wow, Mateo! I love the drawing and I love the scene from the movie! I'm expecting to see you in the credits

These little tidbits we have been getting are wonderful and frustrating all at the same time. I am so looking forward to seeing this movie! I'll probably have to go see it a few dozen times.

This evening both EntertainmentTonight and The Insider will offer Hairspray goodies.

According to 'Tivo guides' ET will air the full length Hairspray trailer while The Insider provides behind the scenes footage and an interview with Nikki Blonsky.

Hairspray on The Insider and ET 4/18/07

I just saw the Insider and first I must say Nikki B is absolutely adorable. They showed some old footage and some new. There was a clip of the filming of GMB that I hadn't seen (and believe me I've seen just about everyting Hairspray related!)and some footage of the takes for the end of Nicest Kids and a little clip of Velma teaching the Council kids a dance. There was some more YCSTB including some new parts like the beginning when Tracy walks in and walks Amber off of center stages. It was fun stuff and the dancing just looks phenomenal! Got my DVR set for the ET trailer tease.
