She is a gem.
Really
Are you on their payroll? I can't see why this needed its own thread.
Also, the show has been running for a few months and she's only doing 7 shows a week. Good for her, but she's not a superhero.
She still can't sing. Sorry. Feeling bitchy.
You know, I was just about to check on her attendance to see if a note of chastisement was in order. But, alas you have saved me the trouble. Please do keep us all abreast of any further developments concerning any deviation from her supposed "perfect" attendance.
Does she deserve a congratulations for doing her job?
I mean that's great, but it's sad that we've come to just expecting people to always be out of shows. Lupone did how many shows of Gypsy and only called out once? The younger generation performers call out far too often.

Ben Platt is only 23, and he called out Sunday for the first time in 5 months on Broadway, so that "younger generation" statement doesn't really hold water.

Ben Platt is a gem.
Neat. I haven't missed a day of work in the past few months, either. I'm a gem!
Patti was famously out herself a lot during her run in Evita, so the younger generation thing doesn't really work in that case either.
I've never understood the valorization of performers with perfect attendance. I suppose it makes for an interesting factoid, but never missing doesn't make you more of a professional. Sometimes people get sick or injured, and it's often just bad luck. Doesn't mean they are working any less hard.
I actually agree with wonderfulwizard, I totally get your point.

You're amazing and funny! And I value you even more for having a low profile job and still show up every day. That's tough, at least it is to me. I just want to be rich and see B'way shows all the time. But then I'd have seen Sunset like 40 times which would make me a total freak. LOL!
So? Who cares? I did a show for a year on the road and didn't miss one performance. It's not that astounding that he hasn't missed a show in 5 months. He wants that Tony, of course he's showing up.

Since both her understudy and her standby went on, she definitely called out more than once
To clarify, I think she is a gem because she is a gem and anyone who got to see her in SUNSET witnessed the performance of the century. But I feel like she really tries hard to show up, even when she is having bad vocal days just to make her fans happy and I love her for that. A true DIVA.

Yet singing w/o acting is purely noise in a show. Or something along the line said by Sutton Foster.
When Elizabeth Taylor was on Broadway in The Little Foxes, she was out so often that audiences didn't know if they'd be seeing her or not.
When the show closes, will this troll idiot go away?
Like, truly, I can't remember someone commenting so frequently on something without coming within shooting distance of an interesting thought. It's pure pollution.
