And just what songs are "Cake (By The Ocean)" and "Maybe Baby?"

I know Cake (By the Ocean) is a song from DNCE, Joe Jonas's group who are playing Johnny Casino and the Gamblers, so I'm going to assume that "Maybe Baby" is another song from them.

So DNCE will be performing their own original songs in the dance scene?  

 

There was probably a stipulation in their agreement that they would do it if they used the telecast to promote their own material.

In the press release, it says there are TWO new songs... one for Carly Rae and one for DNCE.  Since we know which one is Carly Rae's the other's is DNCE which is "Maybe Baby".

The other "soloist" in the Grease single is Carlos Penavega.

The good thing about DNCE's song being in the broadcast is, it's not like they're going to have the whole song played. It'll likely be in the background. At least I hope.

I LOVE that. That should have been the real cover. I'm definitely using it.

 

Also, is it just me or is the first "Grease is the word, is the word that you heard" just Kether and Carly Rae? Or am I hearing things?
