My hope is that since the DVD is being released in March that they will include a lot of cool behind-the-scenes videos and featurettes. Maybe even some of the second screen stuff they are going to be showing live online during the broadcast. I have the DVDs of all three NBC live musicals, but I wish there were some bonus features like that besides those making of documentaries that air beforehand.
I'm not surprised by the cover, having worked on DVDs for a decade. They go for big stars' heads or full figures over a white background with red letters. It's the "safe" marketing concept. I can't tell you how many times we were asked to do that on our menu designs and key art. Ugh.

"Carson has combined his passion for helping children with his love for one of Cincinnati's favorite past times - cornhole - to create a unique and exciting event perfect for a corporate outing, entertaining clients or family fun."
Not to harp about it "too much" but the artistry behind advertising for music, movies, etc has just gone out the window. When I was a kid I used to marvel at the time and attention to detail given to movie poster, etc. Everything is so damned generic and superimposed heads on other peoples bodies.
I don't think they cut it from the production. At least I hope to God they didn't. Maybe they just didn't see the deluxe track list? Other than that, why do they go back and forth with Frenchy's spelling? It is Frenchy, but in the playbill it's Frenchie, then Frenchy, then Frenchie. It's weird. It's easy to google that sort of thing. Other than that, I'm happy Carly Rae is closer to the top with fifth person billing. Wish she had made it on the DVD/Album covers. She is definitely a draw, more so than Vanessa, I'd say. Especially after her critically raved 2015 album. But oh well.

It's not listed as one of the musical numbers in the playbill linked by Phyllis Rogers Stone. Which leads me to believe that it's not going to be in the broadcast. The fact that it was also left off the soundtrack and only included as a bonus track on the Target edition also leads me to believe this as well.
But if you can provide me a source confirming that it was not cut I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
So I brought it to PLAYBILLder's attention on Facebook, and tag L. St L. They get all snarky on me. "Actually, check the song list, it's there." Suddenly, 28 minutes later, an "Additional Music Credit" footnote has popped up on the song list page. They now claim it was hidden by a technical error.
As a producer myself who looks only to credit and pay people for what they've done, it seemed like a grievous omission that needed rectifying. After ten years in the business, too often one is coming across bodies that are buried. If it has an innocent explanation, fine. They're content to report it, I'm content to 'accept' it.
Wow, Playbill is so high and mighty that they are beyond reproach in regards to an error being cited. That's rich. Then they try to cover it up by claiming it was "hidden" due to a technical error?
"Technical error". I need to use that one one of these days.
Maybe, just maybe "Look At Me I'm Sandra Dee (Reprise)" is hidden by this technical error.
They may need to look into the title page as the title of the show is not displaying at all.
