Hmm... well what if I start from "Once I was a selfish fool..." and go to "Never set me free, Tracy, no, no, no." It's more than 8 bars, but it's not the entire song. That's not what I meant when I said entire -- I just meant, like, Link's first little part. Is that too much?

I WONDER WHO THE DYNAMITES ARE GOING TO BE IN THE MOVIE. A FEW OF MY FAVORITES IN THE SHOW WAS SABRINA SCHERIFF, KAMILAH MARTIN, SHAYNA STEELE, ANASTACIA MCCLESKEY, AMANDA DEFRATTIES, AND THE THREE GIRLS FROM THE CANADIAN COMPANY. I THINK AMANDA WAS ONE OF THEM. BUT, I HOPE ONE OF THESE GIRLS ARE IN THE MOVIE.

Thanks! Actually, though, I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in Link. Like, if I was even offered the role, I would say, "No thanks." Honestly, I'm interested in being Fender/Brad/Sketch/IQ. I love being ensemble, and I think being one of the 8 Nicest Kids would be amazing. But still, stay on the lookout, and good luck!

I know what you mean. I used to really want to be Fender...he gets to have some fun parts...like stuffing himself. I hate to say though that I think for the ensemble they are gonna cast either Toronto or Baltimore people, due to expenses it is just so much easier. But definitely send in your tape...you never know.

Hah,

I'll give a shoutout...but seroiously. You should have seen me this week. I am a wreck. I can't eat or sleep because of this audition. I can't think of anything else. I'd like to be all non-chalant and pretend it doesn't matter to me, but that would be lying, something that is very much against my nature. I DO want this badder than anything I've ever wanted in my life. My only goal is a callback, but even taht is no small feat.

I'll be honest: My audition is pretty damn amazing as I have rehearsed it. I have had friends that are always very critical to see it and help me fix it up and even they love it. My problem is I SUCK at auditions. I can do it so well in a room alone...or even onstage...but auditions are my weakness. So I am just hoping to not freeze up. I am trying a different approach this time though...instead of pretending the auditioners aren't there...I am going to pretty much seduce them (male or female) and make them fall in love with me for that minute of me singing.

GAHHHH...I am so excited. Thanks for everyone on here who has supported me. I'll post Saturday night either way.

Yeah, definitely. I knew going into it that they would be doing that. But hey, I'll take my chances -- maybe I can run into the L.A. office (as some of my friends have already) and do a quick little audition there for whatever. Good to get a name out anyway!

question.....would you really consider fender/sketch/brad/iq ensemble?? i would think they would still want to have really good people play those roles, even if they dont live in the area.

I think they are going to cast the "nicest kids in town" from people who went to the open calls. They have this pool of talent why not use it, they will however use people from balt. and toranto as extras AKA background people.

Well, I'll see you all there! (even though I won't really know who i'm seeing just 'cause of the internet thing....but yeah). I'm really excited for tommorow but I'm not giving my hopes up since I'm not the most "all american white guy" around (First off I'm canadian and secondly I'm a meld of nearly every nationality you can name) but it's bound to be a good time, break legs!

haha yeah..i really want to be one of the "nicest kids in town" but alas, i cannot make it to toronto tomorrow, so no hope there. i sent in an email with my headshots and resume 2 days ago and i havent heard anything. soo whatev...good luck tomorrow auditioners

I pretty much look exactly like my headshot to the left, so don't hesitate to come up and say hi (Akiva is my real name). I may look all intense and scary, but that is just because I am usually pretty focused at auditions, but I promise I am nice! :P

Hey! I just got back from my Toronto audition which was so much fun, and I got a callback, I am ridiculously excited!!
I know its common to wear the same thing you wore to the first audition to a callback, does that hold true even if the callback is the very next day?
Congrats to everyone else who auditioned anywhere today! I hope you had as much fun as I did! Oh..and Akiva, I did see you..and meant to go say hi, but it was an inopportune moment (ie - giant line going in the wrong direction so i couldn't move)

Congrats on the callback! I was there for about 20 minutes but got turned away since I wasn't cacusian enough. I hope it went well for everyone else!
