I've returned 3 sets of tickets in my similar quest to choose the best seats - no problems at all and my credit card was credited quickly (fees and all). They've made that process quite easy. Used chat each time.
Just a heads-up, at the merch booth there are no window cards (if you are into those) and the bookmarks aren't in stock yet as well. Their menu shows some stuff that just isn't available yet, and the part two poster isn't available yet either. I sat in BalconyL F21 but was upgraded to Balcony Left F11 for half of part two and all seats in the house are good! By upgraded I mean the couple sitting there had kindly allowed me to move inward since they couldn't stay for act two part two.

Dont know if you decided yet but I’ve sat in both Orchestra C 1 and Orchestra J 2.
It really depends on your preference. I loved seating up close because I felt a part of the show. Whereas Row J was better to see the whole production not just small intricate details.
I have tried the official Ticketmaster site, of course, but it seemed to block my country's IP address. I said this because it always said ERROR, but when I VPN to the States it worked --- until the last step when I tried to pay , it just didn't accept my country's credit card (Taiwan). I can only travel to NYC in July. I guess it'll be too late to secure any ticket after I arrive. I found this. It might seem naive to ask but, is it legit? Has anyone tried it? https://www.facebook.com/Harry-Potter-and-The-Cursed-Child-Tickets-414929265576264/
Dear haterobics, thank you very much for your reply. My current predicament is, I have also tried Stubhub and Seatgeek, and what's frusting to me is they both only accept orders/phones from US and Canada.

Have you tried using the website on data? Ticketmaster has advised me to not use Wi-Fi connection and it might work. Otherwise, you should try to call the International Sales Line (949 333 4001) to attempt your putchase.
Dear Tito3, thank you very much for your reply. Guess what? I have tried both ways as well. See why I said I was frustrated? Wifi or direct connection, I kept getting the following:
We apologize, something went wrong. So that you do not have to start over, please only refresh this page by using the Try Again button below.

I'm frustrated because as I had mentioned, once I tried to VPN my location as in the States, the error message was gone --- except in the last stage the "something went wrong" message popped up again when I tried to pay.
And I had called --- Harry Potter tickets cannot be purchased through phone. Only through their website.

Do you know anyone in the U.S.? If you do, they should be able to purchase tickets for you, then transfer them to your Ticketmaster account.

Do you have a US Ticketmaster account already set up? And have you tried inputting your payment in there first before trying to go through the ticketing process?
Maybe email them or call the US ticket sales line?

They will help you over the phone if you are having problems with payment. I was having problems once with the final payment page throwing me an error and the agent helped me with the ticket in my cart. If you get an unhelpful agent, just try calling again.
We sat in Orchestra Row K and they were fabulous seats. There is actually an aisle in front of that row for people to walk through to get the front section so you have plenty of leg room and the ushers are standing close by to bring you drinks, etc to your seat.
Hi everyone.. First post here for me. I tried going through a lot of the threads but I didn’t really find an answer yet so wondering if anyone can comment on the Dress cir L and R seats that are all the way to the side. People are saying “no bad seats in the theatre” but the Dress circle looks curved so I would assume some action might be missed by the seats closer to the edge? But Ticketmaster sold them as prime seats at $199 and so I would appreciate any intel from people that seen the show already and had similar seats. Ticketmaster also just recently release premium dress circle center seat for my day in Row B, but I don’t know if I really want to spend an extra $200 if the side seats are already decent. Like some people are saying.. the return ticket policy can be a blessing and a curse.

Can you clarify what Row in the Dress Circle currently have?
I asked folks who were sitting in first few seats on each side of dress circle L. They said it was fine except one person said you can't see actors' expressions from there. I took binoculars when I was in the balcony and I did OK. I don't remember the back rows being curved.
I just sat in this row on Saturday - Dress Circle Right Row A. These are the seats that I was given after winning the Friday Forty. Only Row A is curved around to the sides. I thought the seats were fine. From the right side, I didn't miss any action at all. As for distance, I was probably about as far away as about mid Orchestra Row M-N in that range. FWIW, I would not pay $200 more if that the difference between these side seats and Dress Circle Center.
My hubby and I sat in DressC Row L on the aisle on Saturday. These are the $155 tickets. To be honest, they weren’t amazing as everyone’s heads were in the way (so I don’t really agree there are no bad seats). The Dress Circle wasn’t raked enough there and while I’m short and had no qualms going and grabbing a booster seat, my almost 6 foot husband had to use one as well as we couldn’t see over the two rows in front of us. Using a booster seat was definitely new for him! Once we had the booster seats, I could see 95% of the stage, minus the super tall gentleman’s head two rows in front of me who blocked upper stage left. I also agree you can’t see any of the actor’s faces from there.
HOWEVER, all being said and done, by the time the show started and everything began happening, I didn’t care about anything besides the fact that I was there and witnessing some of the most glorious staging I’ve ever seen. I loved absolutely every second, and would not necessarily choose those seats again, but if I had to, I’d endure TWO booster seats for that show.

If you're asking which seats are currently available for sale on Ticketmaster, there's a bunch of days with Row B/C Dress Circle center for May. Premium though at $299/pp

Thanks for responding! This is very helpful. I'm in E14 which is like 1 seat away from the side and so it wasn't making sense to me how these are "prime" seats. But if I'm not going to miss any action, then I would rather save the extra $200 like you suggested. Thanks again!

Thanks for your comments! I'm a bit upset because my tickets are in the same row. I'll be sure to get booster seats. Still, it seems odd that we'll need to do that!

Has anyone experienced any significant problems in getting a refund on returned tickets?"
I recently went through a similar same seating struggle. The website kept offering me row C or row K, and the K seats were further off to the side. Although I was reluctant to move that far off center, I was concerned that row C might be too close if the stage is relatively tall and/or wide (especially given that this is going to be an overall long experience). I ended up going with K because of the added legroom and the presumably more "panoramic" perspective. However, I kept checking back and a few days later I found row F on the actual center aisle. I bought those seats and then used the Ticketmaster website's live chat feature to cancel the original order. It took less than two minutes and 100% of the funds were returned to my credit card three days later.
If you can get row K on the center aisle, I'd go with that rather than row C.
