So, why Wild Party of all musicals and Roundabout?
This will never happen there with the cast you suggested...NEVER!
Keep Dreaming and that's a good thing.

JFC Why??? Nobody besides 10 people asked for this. Newsies would be revived on Broadway before your petition got WIld Party revived. Some dreams are not meant to come true.
Be More Chill isn't a valid comparison, for the past year they have dominated the musical Tumblr tag (staying in the top 5) and gained over 90K fans (based off Salazar's page on Instagram, since I arrived when has had 25K and now he has 120K) while Wild Party hasn't had any fierce fanbase like that. Good luck, grasshopper.

There's really no need to be as personally critical as folks here are being. Clearly OP loves the show and is naive to the workings of the industry as everyone on this board was at one point or another.
There are many ways to guide someone toward a lesson, and suggesting they have a psychological disorder isn't one of them.
If you disagree with their project, you can ignore it without criticizing their mental state. It's that easy.

Thanks for bringing it up. For the record, I'm not crazy and not insane. I'm just a calm, decent, smart and wise theater critic with a blog and a dream that needs to be a reality for next year.

I posted a gag statement here that, even as a gag, was rather innocuous, but I see it was deleted.
This site really is getting rather hyper-sensitive. (And hyper-sensitivity is the death of both comedy and open discourse.)

No thanks. If it were for the LaChiusa version, I'd sign in a heartbeat, even knowing that online petitions to mount a show and/or produce a cast recording are completely ineffective and ultimately result in either total apathy or a tilt of the head, accompanied with a slight frown and a patronizing "Aw...". Or guffaws of laughter. I'm sure that happens a lot, too.

Update: Guess what? I now have 64 signatures! Lippa tweeted me that I need about 100,000 signatures to help persuade the Roundabout to produce it for next season. Please click the link to check it out and help sign it: https://www.ipetitions.com/petition/andrew-lippas-wild-party-to-broadway
Since I'm on Facebook (facebook.com/glenn.biz) and Twitter (twitter.com/glenn_biz), I made two hashtags to help spread the word: #LetsHaveaWildParty #BringLippasWildPartytoBroadway

Congrats. If each one of those 64 people actually buys a ticket --- you've filled 4 rows at the first preview!

Knowing Andrew Lippa as I do, I believe his tweet was tongue-in-cheek - if he made the tweet at all.

By that point, Wild Party will be as outdated as Oklahoma.
