Hello all, I am heading to the city this weekend and I am looking to fill my Sunday Evening slot. After looking at the sparse options, I settled on Hillary and Clinton and WTCMTM. I was wondering which one you all would recommend? I work in Democratic politics and while I only reluctantly voted for Clinton, I have long been fascinated by the person. I also would love to see Laurie and John. On the other hand, I have heard great things about Constitution. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Sunday evening? Are the shows even on at that time?
I for one don't think I could chose between these 2 shows. I saw them both 2 nights in a row and both shows had a profound impact on me as a viewer. Constitution is very current, so it gets that edge. But Hillary/Clinton is deep and often unexpected, and Laurie has a raw energy on stage which not many performers can capture well.
Caption: Every so often there was a rare moment of perfect balance when I soared above him.

I had to look it up too and yeah both these shows have performances Sunday evening. Idk if that is common for these shows or if they opened up more performance for this week for some reason
I saw both on my recent trip to New York and I agree with the consensus here that Constitution is the way to go. I enjoyed Hillary and Clinton, particularly the acting, but Constitution is so very powerful and out of the ordinary. It just can't be missed.
I liked Hillary and Clinton. It has some great acting, some interesting concepts and thought provoking themes but it never quite felt like a fully fleshed out play to me. Also, even if you're fascinated by Clinton, this is not what she actually thought, said and felt. It is from the mind of Lucas Hnath as to what she could have thought, said and felt. I'm glad I got to see it but if I had to pick one as most others are telling you, I'd pick Constitution.
