According to IMDB, The Producers is more or less finished. We should be getting a trailer soon.
They're not entirely done filming RENT from what I understand, but one trailer has come out.
Principal photography is done; but there's still editing to do, among other things.
Just came home from Batman. I enjoyed it. I snuck into The Perfect Man for previews- and I did, indeed, get to see the Rent trailer. It is beautiful. End of story.

Batman Begins RULED. (::silently begs for upcoming Wolverine spinoff movie to be just as good::)
I also saw the 'Rent' trailer today--in front of 'Star Wars Episode 3'. I also got two free Darth Vader "Who's Your Daddy?" posters, so my weekend is made.
I wouldn't see 'The Perfect Man' (or anything with Hillary Duff) if the trailers for Rent, The Producers, The Fountain, King Kong, Chronicles of Narnia, X-Men 3, Superman Returns, and footage of Derek Jeter's grand slam today were running in front of it.
It's kind of off-topic but I heard "The Perfect Man" is the worst movie of the year. :P

Yea- I have no desire to see The Perfect Man. Sneaking in and out is the way to go.
Oh- and Batman is GREAT.
If anyone has seen the "Rent" trailer in any Cleveland-area theaters, PM me and let me know. I refuse to call all theaters again and make a complete fool of myself for a third time.
Example coversation:
Me: "Yes, is your theater showing the trailer for Rent in front of any movies?"
Theater Employee: "The trailer for what?"
Me: "Rent."
Theater Employee: "How do you spell that?"
Me: "**sigh**... R-E-N-T."
I refuse to have this conversation one more time!

HAH!!!! "How do you spell that?" "R-E-N-T" HAH! I will never forget that! Thats kind-of like when I have to tell ppl my name, it usually goes like this:
me: I'm Chip
person:Skip?
or
me:I'm Chip
person: Chet?
Or they think my name is Chad, which I hate, but kind-of find funny, because thats my ex's name.lol! SORRY for the thread jackins thing that just went on!

I saw it in front of Howl's Moving Castle (an excellent movie by Hayao Miyazaki, the creator of Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke among others) tonight.
"Have they finished The Producers yet? I thought they werent even finished filming yet."
Well, a film does not have to be finished for there to be a trailer. There has already been a trailer for "The DaVinci Code" and they have not even started shooting yet.
Trailer
Hopefully I'll get to the movies soon. Haven't had time because of finals and such. If I see the Rent trailer before a movie I'll probably scream. Softly though lol.
Hmm...can I just sneak in to see the trailer and not see The Perfect Man? lol. Rent is so worth it though =D

I love the trailer, i just want to see it in theaters so i can stand up and start clapping to "Seasons of Love" and be like ITS ADAM PASCAL and freak out and embarass all my friends. I've definitely done that before with Harry Potter trailers and seeing Andy Serkis in 13 Going on 30..i was like ITS GOLLUM ITS GOLLUM!
The Producers trailer will supposedly be in front of BEWITCHED next week.

Okay. I'm depressed. I just went to see Batman, and afterwards we snuck into Cinderella Man for a second, to try to find the Rent trailer. No luck. So Mom asked some employee, and he said it's in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, or Batman (we saw Batman in IMAX, so there were no previews, darn it)! Well, I guess I'll have to try again. I mean, I've seen it online, but it doesn't really give you that thrill, you know?

I saw the trailer before "A Perfect Man" today- I wanted some mindless entertainment. I want the 1.5 hours of my life back, but I did get much joy out of seeing Rent on the big screen. I had to contain my excitement though. Who knew the audience for a Hilary Duff movie would be senior citizens?
Anyway, I cannot wait to see the movie in November.
Now I'm definately gonna see Bewitched. I'm seeing it anyway because Kristin Chenoweth's in it. Does she have a big role? I live in Massachusetts and there's all this havoc(sp) about the new Bewitched statue in Salem. I personally don't think it belongs in Salem. It has nothing to do with the Salem Witch Trials. End rant.
isn't it great?! it's MOOOOOOving! I'm such a "renthead!" sorry
