Haha I'm sorry theatrefan if I had the full sized image I'd share it!
Only thing I can share for now is this. Who knew Gavin was a football player? :p I must say though I'm really starting to dig long hair on guys now. I blame Gavin for that :p
Okay y'all I braved the crowds at the Broadway Flea Market and came out of it with a picture of and autograph from the delightful Gavin Creel.
After standing on line for a while and the confusion associated with how much the donations were for pictures he was so friendly and pleasant to my sister and me. When we went to take the picture he extended his hand and asked both of our names and was just a sweetheart. He kept on telling my sister to go on the other side so he could be in the middle and called her "honey" at one point. And instead of standing at a distance from us [like other celebrities did] he was all about pulling us closer to make sure the picture came out nice.
Afterwards we talked briefly about how we were at the show when he injured himself and he actually apologized about it. I mean that was the last thing we were expecting for him to say. We were just concerned if he was better, which he assured us he was. I also joked with him how Will's ankle got jealous of his and he played along saying how Will wanted some time off as well. He then signed one of the Polaroid folders even though we took it with our own camera.
Then as I was leaving I wished him good luck with the Equality Rally and he asked me if I was going. When I explained how I couldn't because the buses were all full he took the time to explain how even though the website said that now to keep checking cause they were going to open up more buses soon [which they did!]
So yea sorry for that little anecdote just felt like sharing how he really is as nice and down to earth as he seems in person and that my crush for him has deepened lol For you all putting up with that I share this picture. I definitely would have loved it if he were my Prom King :p
He seems like such a nice guy, mark! I would love to stagedoor for HAIR (I'm not a stagedoor person, but I would consider it this time around) but I'm not sure if the cast will come out that day. It's the matinee before the equality rally they are probably going to want to rest as much as they can. I would definitely understand if they didn't want to stagedoor, though (I would probably do the same thing if I were them). Here's a photoflash of the True Colors Cabaret (how his he so damn cute!).

Soooo. The 7:00 Ars Nova conert tonight? INCREEEEDIBLE <3
First off, I've just like to say that Ars Nova is a gorgeous venue. So so intimate, and the acoustics are FLAWLESS. Like, daaang, everything sounded SO perfect! He didn't even really need a mic at all!! And pretty much every seat had a perfect view!
Basically, it was just a perfect show. I still cannot get over the perfection and heaven that is Gavin's voice, the song were all soooooo beautiful, and Robbie is CRAZY on that guitar man- SO good! And Gavin is so damn funny and adorable. I could literally have sat there ALL DAY just having him chat and be adorable and sing songs The crowd was quite quiet though, so I really hope Gavin realized that was just because we were all REALLY into the music, and not because we were bored! haha. It was ANYTHING but boring, it's just the music was really mellow, so the audience was mellow too.
The ONLY two negatives about the night were: - Too short I needed mooooore haha - Ars Nova is a biyotch to get to from Grand Central! It literally takes about 45 minutes each way to get there, what with two subway transfers and then walking 3 avenues and 3 blocks. Granted I walk really slow, but still. There is no easy way to get there. So actually it was a good thing technically that the show ended early because I managed to back back to Grand Central just in time for the 9:25 train haha
Other notable things/moments from the show: - Caissie and Jon Groff were there! Too cute omg. I first saw Caissie walk in and I was all "awww!" then I glance over a second later and Groff is with her and they're getting to their seats and chatting and everything hehe. So yeah, that made me happy - Gavin noticed we were a quiet audience and commented on it, which prompted Caissie to yell from the audience "WE LIKE YOU A LOT!", to which Gavin went "I LIKE YOU TOO! ...waait a minute, I know that voice! I tongue her every day!" aand he went on a bit with stories of his making out sessions with Caissie lol. SO funny - He called his parents, using an audience member's phone!! hahaha. He had his laptop and had wanted to skype with them, but the internet wasn't working, and his own cell phone was downstairs. So a girl from the audience asked if he wanted to use her phone and he did. Hilarious, and adorable -"Holding". OMG. That SONG. *dies* It's just stunning. I need it on my ipod like, yesterday. I was sooooo happy that he did it again, because I'd been wanting to hear it so badly!
Ummm... basically the whole night was amazing haha. DEFINITELY a fantastic first Gavin concert experience It just needed to be longerrr
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.
Not only that, but "Sunday is the holiest time." It was the clincher.

I wish I could have been there! Was at "Memphis" last night (BTW, I don't know why people were bashing it. The whole group of us though it was amazing.) But "Holding" owns my soul. That had better be going on the CD! I need to get a copy of that song STAT. Counting down the days until Feinstien's and the Dec. show at Symphony Space!

"Even I think that's hot, and I'm a straight guy. If I ever become gay he is the reason." - Drunk Chita Rivera on Gavin Creel
"Leia947 is my theatre mamma, and I love her for it." - AndAllThatJazz22
Robbie has a great voice too though! And KILLER guitar skillz
and yeah, I am DETERMINED to get that "Holding" video. It's RIGHT THERE, so now we KNOW someone has it. haha. Hopefully it's just a matter of friending them so you can see private videos :P

The private "Holding" video is mine, and I marked it as private because Gavin specifically asked for it not to be publicly shared.
I uploaded it so a few friends of mine (who have already heard the song) could see the performance again, but I didn't want to make it completely public. I didn't realize that people would be able to see that it was there, so sorry that it was a tease!
^I may have the new stuff on my ipod, but I will most DEFINITELY be buying the real album when it comes out too!! :)
I mean, even though the audio quality for pretty much all of his concert videos is really good, it's still not a studio recording. Plus, I love him and his music, so why I would I not support him/it?
And also, awww yay that he got Skype working for the second show! :P Though it was pretty damn adorable with him using an audience member's cell phone instead hehe
