I totally dread Mondays but at least this show gives me something to look foreward to on Monday nights! It really fills that void that was left in my TV watching whe "Friends" ended
The webcasts were adorable - I love Jesse & Jason's banter at the beginning of the table read. That episode's probably going to be a stinker. And I'm sad they cut the superhero bit before the run-through.
Sigh. West coaster, just waiting for my time to catch up with yours.
I could be wrong, but I could swear I read somewhere that the Class was already picked up for a second season.. but maybe I'm thinking of a different show.

I hope it gets picked up. Jesse said on his myspace page that they find out in May if they got picked up for another season. Usually, if I like a show it gets cancelled so keep your fingers crossed!!!
I hope that's true! Jesse said in his blog that they don't find out until May.
So many updates to my myspace page. I think we can all safely assume this is a product of me having a lot of free time right now. We "wrapped" THE CLASS a few weeks ago. "Wrapped" is fancy LA talk for "Finished". But before I cause fans of the show to go into cardiac arrest let me clarify : "Finished" should not read as "Cancelled". Calm down and keep reading...
I shot an episode of UGLY BETTY a few weeks ago. Actually, the week after I was done working on THE CLASS. It was strange to go to work on a new show....especially as I was still missing MY show. But being a fan of UGLY BETTY, I was honored to be asked to be a part of their cast for the week. I play her orthodontist, Dr. Farkes. (Check out the picture I posed on my pictures page). I already knew a few of the cast members so it made the whole experience really comfortable.
All my scenes are with America. I have to take a moment and let you all know what an amazing person she is. She obviously has massive amounts of talent. She carries this huge show on her shoulders with such grace and poise, but she is also one of the most down to earth and grateful people I have ever met. I know I am gonna sound like my grandmother when I say this but " She is a Joy".
I also got to work with the amazing Judith Light who I have been a fan of for years. (I got to see her in the off broadway play "Wit". Brilliant.)
I also want to say: You know you are working on a hit show when the producers roll in three huge chocolate fondu fountains to celebrate Valentine's Day.
So, the episode I am on airs March 15. Check it out if you get a chance and keep your fingers crossed for THE CLASS. We will find out in May if we are renewed for a second season.
Jesse along with a handful of his "Class" co-stars were at the UPRIGHT Cabaret performance last Friday here in Los Angeles. He wound up getting quite the round of applause I should get some pictures of the evening up on the Los Angeles page later this week!
Does anyone know if I can view the old episodes on-line? Monday always seems to be busy for me, and I forget to tape the Class. I'd like to get caught up.
Also...on the site that must not be mentioned, there were some funny Jesse vidoes. They included "Leaf Coneybear" creating capes for cats and hiding candy in the woods. Not sure if they are still there, but they are worth the search!
I figured as much. Breaks my heart as I loved the show. That along with TWO AND HALF MEN and THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE were my favorite Monday night shows.
Another slew of unemployed actors. It just never ends.
Me too. The Class was gaining a lot of potential. Compaired to some of the CRAP sitcoms that have been running for years, it just doesn't make sense. Networks don't seem to give shows the chance to develop anymore.
