Is it April Fool‘s Day?
Sounds really interesting, honestly.
Pero like who is asking for all these Michael Jackson musicals..

I really want to understand how Jerry Minor got roped into this because while not a big household name, dude has been in notable things (SNL, Mr Show...)

Not a good fit.
Now I need someone to write a musical about OJ Simpson’s glove.
The title is like one of those sentences that gets weirder with each successive word.
What other musicals can we right from the POV of inanimate objects that were there? Let's see....
The story of Sia as told from the POV of her black and white wig?
The story of Nelly as told from the POV of the band-aid on his face?
The story of Steve Jobs as told from the POV of his black turtle neck?
OR we can keep it in the family and have the story of Janet Jackson as told from the POV of the nipple pastie she wore during the super bowl half time show? I smell a classic!

Is this what the costume will be? If so, then I'm kinda on board...

I feel like any way I could react to this would just be playing into its hands.
I'm sure this wasn't an original idea but at the height of the Aids crisis and we attended so many funerals, this one we all remembered.
As the coffin disappeared and the curtain closed, a single White Gloved Hand appeared, and waved goodbye to us all.
That got a standing ovation.
Johnny Depp just needs to go away somewhere and never come back.

Did you read the article? I felt like my sanity was slipping with each sentence.

Agree. He use to be such a respected actor and one of my favorites. Now he is kind of a joke.

I mean obviously this sounds really stupid and I’m positive it will flop...probdbly as it should. Really wish broadway would stop making so many movie adaptions and shows based off people. I want more original ideas!!! Not that adaptions are bad but some just don’t need to be made. All that energy could be put into something orginal and new!

What’s its worth this is a pretty damn original idea...

You can almost imagine Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder pausing to read this script while looking for a surefire flop.
“For the Love of Glove: An Unauthorised Musical Fable About the Life of Michael Jackson, as Told by His Glove”
Is this the actual title?
Gotta hand it to him. He became the new Marlon Brando. Went from gifted actor giving great performances to a washed up actor in dreck like the Lone Ranger .Along the way screwed up his personal life and lost a ton of money like Nicholas Cage. What a waste of talent sort of like Jim Carrey. Watched him the other night as William Shatner in Star Trek parody. Absolutely brilliant.
Oh well. Sorry I will miss this.
Johnny Depp is absolutely brilliant, and I look forward to any projects he chooses to put his hand (or glove) to!
I mean, it's in Los Angeles, land of the weird, so it makes sense.
