That's terrible. Less than two weeks away and they're trying to rip off fans for the last show. I'll keep checking, but those prices are insane. Never paid more that $100 to see any Broadway show's final performance, and I've seen a lot of closing show performances.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
just checked and there are roughly 300 seats in the mezz. available ranging from $199-$150. Doubt all of those will sell. Maybe half if they're lucky. I'll keep checking and hope those prices fall. I'm also curious if they'll sell SRO that day. Anyone care to ask the box office that are in the area?

If they priced them that cheaply, they would all be sold and being resold by third parties now...

I agree. Personally I don’t think the price is that unreasonable. Wish I lived in NYC, I’d buy a ticket. But it’s too far for me to travel right now.
And I’m sure the final performance is going to be something very special, a moment in time where I wish I could be there and savor every smile and tear. It’s going to be remarkable. A final goodbye to an extraordinary show.
These greedy producers jacked up prices for the final week. The rear mezz. tickets are $97($159 for mid-mezz & $199 for front mezz. Orchestra is $169-$249). If you look at availability for the final week, the Tue-Thur are barely sold. Expect it to be at TKTS for 50% off the final week(Tue-Thur & possibly Friday). They should have allowed the latest discount up until April 4 at least.

I saw that discount yesterday . Looks like the same prices as last summer's BroadwayBox discount. Still not as steep as it was a few weeks ago but it's the end

Hey, maybe it'll be up at TKTS for 50% off($100).

With over 300 seats now available I would think a strong possibility at TKTS. I do feel sorry for any of the fans who grabbed the last three rows of the mezzanine when they first released them.

I would tend to think that if these don't start selling in the next few days, they'll make them available without a code. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on these seats.

I guess they'll see how these sell. Looks about 50% of what's available doesn't need a code. IdI give it until Thursday before all seats are available without a code.

I went to South St. Seaport TKTS today to try for the Kinky Boots Wed, 4/3 matinee but they didn't even have them avail. Only KB tickets for tonight's (Tu, 4/2) show, which were $96.00. I'm already seeing another show tonight so I passed. Hopefully Lincoln Center or South St. has tickets for the KB matinee tomorrow...I believe they both do same-day matinee tickets? I'm just in town for a few days so tomorrow is my only shot to see it.
I see no reason why it won't be available tomorrow. There's a ton of seats available. Good luck!!

Saw KB last Friday night... fantastic performance. I think the audience had many return visitors as everyone knew the show. Likely super fans saying goodbye!

I've been checking daily, too. Those mezzanine seats aren't selling. Fingers crossed that 1.) The prices go down or 2.) It's up at TKTS that day.

I just got via the TM code second row center mezz two tix for $199 each. Steep yes, but I’ve never been to a Broadway opening or closing and I’m sick and tired of living vicariously through all you NYCers who see them all the time! LOL Lots of seats still available in the mezz.
My vacation plans for later this month changed to this weekend and I’m thrilled to see KB a third time. I still have issues with Harvey’s book in Act 2 and how Charlie suddenly becomes so hateful and belligerent during intermission. I don’t buy it. Lola and he have seized a great idea, why is he so angry? His sole (pun intended) motivation in Act 1 is saving the factory and the jobs. Why not positively focus on making the new boots a success? Anyway, once the Milan finale and Raise You Up start I’m energized and good.
So I’m seeing Kinky Boots and Cher, and stopping often for a drink at Flaming Saddles, and visiting my best friends, a gay couple. Too gay?
I wanted to see if the final performance was sold out, but then Ticketmaster directed me to a page where I entered my information...I guess this is if tickets become available? I wasn't able to view the seating map.
I just pulled up Ticketmaster and wasn't directed anywhere else. Shows both the seats that you can purchase without a code and those you need a code for. All so far are in the mezzanine.
