I've noticed a few of the ensemble have left since the show opened so figured I'd start a thread to keep a discussion about who's leaving/joining the company.

According to her Facebook page, Natalie Joy Johnson is joining the show. Anyone have any idea who she's replacing?

Natalie Joy Johnson is replacing Tory Ross in December.

Kinky Boots is one of those shows where all the ensemble/chorus players were so unique and added so much to the whole picture that a Tory Ross will be missed.

I was not there but I spoke to someone who works there and was told that he sounded great, is very comfy in the role and the audience loved him. I also heard he is a really nice guy and everyone was thrilled for him.

With Drag Race season 6 coming up..anybody think RuPaul may be on the list for Lola replacements when Billy leaves? I know he can sing, not sure about serious acting, but I'd be there in a flash!

As of right now, I don't think they need to stunt cast, and plus Ru Paul is in his 50s? Aren't the characters suppose to be childhood friends...so that means the Charlie would have be older as well.

Have young Charlie and Young Simon ever met as children, though? Now that I think about it, would anybody be able to see past the RuPaul character as opposed to RuPaul playing Lola.

It's never explicitly stated that Charlie and Lola were childhood friends. We get glimpses of them as children, but nothing is ever suggested that they knew each other- "Not My Father's Son" also thoroughly suggests they knew nothing of how the other grew up- their first meeting is probably when Charlie rescues Lola before her show in the street from muggers. While watching the show, the fact that Billy is older than Stark also reads onstage, I never thought they were supposed to be the same age even without the contextual cues.

Last time I spoke to Annaleigh, she said the principals contracts expire in Janurary. Anyone have an update?

RuPaul looks like he's in his 30s while in drag, but nah, I doubt you'll see him in this. They really don't need to stunt cast.

There was a recent casting call for Kinky and Porter's the role was not one of the ones they were auditioning for. My assumption is that Stark. Annaleigh and some of the other major principles are choosing not to renew their contracts but my suspicion is that Billy will stay in for another year.

Christy Faber, who was most recently in the touring company of Priscilla, announced on her Facebook that she's joining Kinky Boots. Does anyone know what role she will be playing?

I'm not sure what the big Annaleigh news is, but I recently saw a video posted on YouTube that was filmed at the stage door. She confirmed that her contract expires in January, but she was definitely staying until "at least March."

It has just been announced that Annaleigh will be leaving the show in March, as she has landed a permanent role in HBO's Masters of Sex.

She must have made a really good impression there the first time around on MASTERS of SEX. She was only on the first 3 episodes this season and her character was written out of the show. Good for her that they want her back.

who do you think will come in in march? i heard patti murin, leslie kritzer and haven burton. any of those would be good. i saw ellyn marsh go on and thought she was AMAZING but i also heard allie mauzy is going in and she's hysterical

I haven't heard anything about Stark Sands leaving the show. Where did you hear that ashleybrod? Do you have a link to an announcement about this?

No...I just got excited about it. I heard it at the stage door from my friend who talks to the cast a lot, I didn't know we needed links. I tried to find an official article and there isn't one, so I guess my friend could be wrong, btu she said she heard it from some kb cast members at stage door

i didn't ask personally (too scared haha) but i'll ask her who said it
