Sadly I never interviewed her but I met her several times and she posed for photos at several events and Groff and Gallagher seemed to like her and she was especially sweet to me.
Love the whole cast of Spring. I never had a bad experience with anyone except two people:
Kevin Spacey- He is the biggest devo I have ever met and the biggest diva had to be Julie White. Everyone else I have met have always been very nice.
I do think she is big enough to be referred as Rachel Berry and 'that girl from Glee' but by herself a major name? Nah.
I had two diva experiences with Julie White and you could say I will never be the same. I was a seatfiller at the Tonys and I was in her seat. Instead of tapping me on the shoulder she took her bony elbow and jammed it hard into my back.
The nice seatfiller lady saw what she did and apologized. She was very lucky that they were filming because had it been any other day I would have bitch slapped her across the room.
PS I am not a violent person but White jammed me hard and it hurt for several days after it happened. It was crazy scary and had it been in a bar or at a party I would have made a very big scene. Julie White gives new meaning to the word Diva.
Lea was really nice to me and my team.

That's so upsetting about Julie White!! I mean, really??
Oh please. Does anyone really believe she is ACTING on GLEE? 99% of film acting is playing yourself in whatever the situation might be the other 1% is pretending your legs don't work. IF you need proof read the Rolling Stone article on GLEE. She holds up her reputation. That and Ryan Murphy pretty much said he built the characters from the actors.
She does have a sweet @$$ though
Corine, that sucks about Julie White. I saw her on the street once and asked her for her autograph and she did the same thing to me.
I asked her to pee on me, but she just laughed and signed my Playbill.

Is it within the realm of possibility that some (Lea?)take this criticism to heart? Or are they the "who gives a F"!type. Still, a person like Lea who is mega famous now will undoubtedly "fall" at some point."
Just nearly shy of a decade later... this has me rolling.

I think that people make mistakes, it's just worse for her because she is a celebrity, bearing in mind it was 5 years ago, i think people need to drop it. Branding someone a racist is a serious accusation, especially considering what we are going the through at the moment. Also, iqbal theba (principal figgins, glee) said that he, a pakistani-american islam was never targeted by lea and is sure she has put that part of her past behind her. Maybe all the accusations were out of jealousy? I mean, how could u not be jealous of the queen that is lea michele
Folks who worked with her on the short-lived ABC series THE MAYOR say the exact same things about her. That was circa 2017. Nothing has changed.

Really, this had to be dug up again after the moderator shut down the other thread about her. Cmon people, move on.

I love when people say that calling someone racist is a “serious implication” as if the people who are the targets of racism don’t understand the severity of the situation. Lovely.

Heads-up: this whole situation with Lea Michele has solely been about her bully behavior. It has never once been about racism. A simple Tweet she posted with good intentions detoured and countless of her peers have surfaced with their stories of her bullying. Yes, the timing comes right as the world is focused on racial issues hence why some are under the impression all the current talk about her is one of racial implications. It is not. Not one person has called her a racist or implied that.

So not established racist but transphobic? Wow, not a good week for Lea.
I don't think that fair, either. She's just a mean, bitter person that sees no reason to say whatever she wants . Once she has deemed you lesser than she is, you're fair game.
Will she become better person? We can hope, bu tchange is hard for most of us.

I don't understand why she was summarily let go from a contract she had with a diet company. Lea was always known to be difficult and often nasty with co-workers. Now, since some of them happened to be black, there's a sudden uproar over her past behavior--never before termed as racist--which has been known for years. Knee-jerk decision-making?
Because companies don’t want to be associated with any controversy, no matter how big or how small.

Where has her career actually taken her?
Marriage and motherhood and in February 2019, she appeared in a commercial for ZOLA, a wedding planning website. That’s pretty much it aside from some Los Angeles based gala appearances.

It isn't referred to as racist now, either. No one has said she's a racist.

She did make that Christmas movie. So she could have pivoted to a steady career churning out Hallmark movies while being a mommy lifestyle blogger. Maybe not an exalted career that would make the most of her talents but you could do worse for yourself as an actor.
