Any news on casting yet? I know the amazing Natalie Weiss is part of the production, but not sure what part she is playing.

She is a swing on the tour.
I know most casting but not at liberty to say
Rehearsals start in two weeks, they should be announcing casting soon

It's on her homepage that she is a swing.
I love people who write things like "Oh, I know who they are BUT I cannot say" What is the point of even writing something like that?
Andrew Varela is Javert. It is not a secret.
People have been writing on their homepages and facebook pages....................
I saw this yesterday afternoon in The Barbican, London.
This production does away with the revolve stage, in favor of conventional sets. I wasn't keen to see a touring production as I had seen Les Miserable already this year (London West End production). I have to say I was completely blown away, this production is magnificent.

I'm sorry....I should have said
I'm in the show but can't release any names until a press release
and I only wrote that so I wasn't asked about anyone else

I think Justin Scott Brown was the first name publicly mentioned.

Is this tour a completely new production, not just a scaled-down version? In the video, it looks like they took away the triangle marching, which made me quite happy because I always wondered why they marched in a triangular formation. Is it completely different from the original? I love new productions of musicals with iconic staging because, as iconic as the staging might be, it is painful to see community theater directors keep misinterpreting the original staging that they try to recreate because of a lack of originality. New productions show that there's more than one way of doing things.

Oh, Julie Benko's in it as well.
Andrew Varela as Javert!?
I saw him as an understudy for Valjean in the original production and thought he was magnificent. This makes me anxious to see him as Javert, who I always found to be a more interesting character.
I saw Neil Berg's 101 Years of Broadway and Lawrence Clayton, a performer, announced he would be playing Valjean in the US Tour. I assume I can write it on here if they are announcing it in public like that. I could be wrong, be he may be the first African-American Valjean. He had a terrific voice!
Phantom of London - glad to hear it is good. I am seeing the tour in June. I have seen the Broadway production and an incredible local production and I was worried this tour would not live up to them.
It's not a completely new production because they're using the same designer and sets used in the productions at the Pittsburgh CLO and Theatre Under the Stars in Texas. Although, to be fair, Matt Kinley has made a few changes to his original designs for the tour.
Oh, wow. I remember hearing a reliable rumor about 10 years ago that Lawrence Clayton had been offered the role either on tour or Broadway, but had to turn it down.
I've seen Andrew Varela as the Phantom and Professor Bhaer. I never pictured him as a Javert, but now I REALLY need do see this!
Best show that is, was or ever will be.
Break-a-leg, all, and I hope to get to see this sometime.

I am looking forward to the casting announement and hoping that my city will be added to the tour.
I believe this is the same set that the US tour will use if anyone if interested. http://www.pittsburghclo.org/setrentals/view/40

Thank you!
Crossing fingers that they get closer to me than LA...
And closer to me than New Jersey!
There are some very long gaps in the schedule so I'm guessing they will add more cities!
Those sets are similar, though not the same.
Anastasia Korbal (Annie, Little House tours) is Young Cosette, as per her website (http://anastasiakorbal.com/1.html) and her mom's Facebook.
