I’m in line now (8:10a) and am 5th in line. Will update with seats we get.
UPDATE: We got Mezz EE 118-120. First row of rear mezz, so plenty of leg room and perfect view. The rail only slightly blocked the bottom of the stage (where nothing happens) - but I'm very short.

Does Sunday morning still seem like a good/easy day to rush? Looking to get tickets to the evening show on Dec 16.

Also looking for rush info for a Sunday night show. The box office opens at 12:00, any advice on what time to arrive? Does it help that it will probably be 30 degrees out?!

Nice, sounds like great seats! Thanks for the info. I decided to just buy a ticket since I don't think I will have any time to stand in line anyway. Oh well, money spent already. Supporting the artists

So are rush tickets now leaning toward Orchestra over Rear mezz?
Also, it looks like matinee and evening rush tix are both available at noon on Sundays, correct?
Anyone lined up for this recently? How early are people starting to line up?

Today is Sunday, December 9 and it is 32° outside. I walked up to the box office at 5:00pm and was able to purchase two $40 Orchestra tickets for the 7pm show. Row M114 and 115. Prior to leaving my house I researched how many seats were left unsold. There were over 80 seats available in the front mezzanine and about 100 available in the orchestra. The show was also on sale at the TKTS booth for 50% off.

That's fantastic! And good to know as the cold continues. Very smart to check unsold seats. Thanks for sharing.

My friend and I will be in NYC for an academic conference, and I was wondering the likelihood of us getting Saturday night tickets if we show up at the box office around 11? The conference is basically around the corner, but I'm not completely sure when we will finish up in the morning. I figured Saturday would be the best day to try because it seems like the matinee is more popular. Also, we would be looking to go with another friend who is housing us for the conference, so what are the limits on how many rush tickets one person can buy?
Thank you!

It's been on Tkts every day since it opened, why don't you just get better tickets from there.

I agree with you Miles2Go2. On TKTS it’s $98 today vs rush at $40. When I rushed Dec 1, we got first row of the rear mezz (EE118) which had the walkway in front so no blocking from tall people. Excellent seat location IMO.

Ah sorry I thought you were talking about getting advance crappy seats just cos they were cheaper.

(This was this previous Thursday) I got to the theatre around 12:00 or 12:30. Walked right up to the box office and they still had rush seats. I got two together in the Rear Mezz.
When we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised about the view. I was really confused why so many people said they would never sit in the rear mezz. Two minutes into sitting down, it soon became apparent. If you are taller than 5'5 I would not recommend. I've literal never been so uncomfortable in my life. I was actually so relieved that the play is so short. I think i could have enjoyed it a lot more if I had a roomier seat.

The issue with rush tickets IMO is that you don't know WHERE in the rear mezz you'll be sitting. Maybe I got lucky, but I got the first row of the rear mezz (EE) and it was a great view!
Rear of rear mezz would be a completely different story of course.

yeah, I seriously can't stress enough how awful it is. A lot of times I think people are being dramatic when they say there's not enough leg room, but this is probably the worst i've experienced. even my friend who is rather short was pretty uncomfortable
