As much of an ALW fan that I am and would like to see this reach Broadway - I doubt that this would be the time to bring LND here. If anything a crowd pleaser like Joseph would make more sense in whats going to be a difficult place to start

Joseph is certainly a great shout and could see happening.

Post Covid Broadway will need to adapt and unfortunately Broadway will need to slash costs both in development to put a show on, on Broadway and weekly nut. It could be possible that Broadway capacity will be 50-69% and average ticket prices slashed. Gone will be the eye watering Hamiltonesque average ticket prices. However crucially Love Never Dies has a set and quite a elaborate one, which is a tremendous cost of putting a show on.

Could be Beauty and the Beast and Aida could come in?

Weren’t Beauty and the Beast and Aida supposed to come to Broadway anyway?

I also think he won't be happy till the show gets to Broadway, and I could see how they bring the cheaper tour into a Broadway theatre for a bit to give it a quick run before it goes back on the road.

Darkest Timeline: Broadway is desperately in need of content with backers who can front the money themselves. Enter ALW with LND and its ready-to-go production on the cheap.

Seriously though, why the f*** would this show ever COME BACK to Broadway? Granted the AUS design (most recently toured/Peacock Dress) definitely gave it a certain je ne sais quios, there's nothing you can do for that dumpster fire of a book. Like... such utter trash that Frederick Forsyth apologized and vowed never to attempt romance again. Not to mention the lyrics are a huge turn off (why, Glenn, whyyyyyyyyyyy).

Obviously, I care a bit more than the average theatre fan. Phantom of Manhattan would have worked as a 15 yr old's first attempt at fanfiction. Anything other than that... just no.
