ok, so she had problems taking her skirt off during "Saturday Night In The City" and with her top during "Right In Front Of Your Eyes". i figured thats what the costume problems were. haha, good for her for covering them up well!!
and with the rose thing, amy actually has had a problem with that before too. its really not the best place to put it, lol.
umm, as far as laura goes, i really dont think shes changed that much. i mean, she changes little things she does, and she does that every show. shes constantly changing stuff. what kind of stuff did you notice? im jw. but i will deff say that shes improved the way she says "youre an asshole". it was perfect the last time i saw it! and im glad you enjoyed her!! for me, she makes the show!! lol.
and liotte: thanks! im deff gonna go check those out!
and im starting a new countdown: 50 days til i see the show again!!! lol
dancing: are you gonna be able to go sunday? i really hope you can!!!

yeah, you may want to delete the link but wow, who on this board would like to fess up to doing that video? sorry, i just imagaine a BIG wedhead would have to do that :P pretty funny
LOL I once did my own performance of "Linda" once for my dad. But I didn't video tape it... or make a costume... and I was a little drunk.
l love you without knowing how... or when... or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride. I love you because I know no other way than this.
I believe in fate
But it's up to us to follow through
WOW I'm gone at school for a few hours and look how much I miss, haha! I am totally lost, but ok.
Sorry if somebody already replied to this but...
William: Nicolette's usual track includes (sorry if some of these aren't really specific but with some of them you should be able to tell which one would have been her) a bridesmaid in the opening number, bathroom stall popper-outer (lolz the one in the middle with the guy) at the beginning of Pop, flower delivery person at end of Pop, guest at McDonough wedding, mallrat in Not That Kind of Thing, waitress in Saturday Night in the City (this one might be the first one you can actually tell who she is), secretary in All About the Green (the one who says at the beginning of the scene 'Mr. Guiglia there's a Robbie Hart hear to see you'), drunk girl in scene where Glen punches Robbie in the face (she wears her Saturday Night in the City wig in this one I believe), guest (don't really know what to call this one) in the Julia and Robbie wedding AKA the Finale.
oh, its their halloween costume? that makes it a bit more understandable...i thought they just felt like making a costume out of the blue, and i was like "okay..." haha, thats cool
if i could be any character in that show, i would be Sammy, because i get to fall in love with a hot girl (such as Amy or Nicolette) 8 times a week ha, in my dreams...
Does anyone else here belong to the Playbill Club? I got an email earlier advertising WS tickets up to $50 off. It also said on the ad that Constantine is indeed staying on until December 3. I saved the email in case anyone was curious.
I promised I would post a review, and I am keeping my promise.
Wednesday October 25th 8 o clock show review:
You obviously know I have a story, so i'm gonna share that first Ok, I get to the theatre around 4-ish to go and get my tickets so after that I can go out to eat and walk around and whatever. Anyway, i'm right in front of the lobby and I feel someone walking past me. So I turn around and I see Kevin and Constantine in costume (which had to be the funniest thing ever) and I said hi (It was really awkward, but I had to) and they both said hi, and I watched them go outside and go through the stage door. After that I was laughing so hard I think I fell down.
I went to eat at Planet Hollywood and I was soo full after that (I'm still full). But the funniest thing was that when I was eating I looked up at the t.v for a seccond and see the "Thriller" music video come on when M.J's dancing and obviously it reminded me of "Casualty Of Love" so I was laughing hysterically at that also.
Okay! Finally, the part everyone wants to hear.
(There was a full cast. Thank you God )
First I'll give a review of the cast then the songs because I have A LOT to say:
Stephen: What can I possible say about him? He is an amazing actor and he is so talented. It's scary. Everytime I see him perform he gets better and better everytime. Oh, and when he talks about "Bad Haircut Guy" he DOESN'T say his line and stop to talk about his hair. He just says: "No, I don't" then he goes on and disses his hair. I was shocked. I loved that part so much!
Laura: She is really good. Even though I DO miss Tina a lot. I have to admit that Laura is really good also. And one thing I don't understand was when Tina said the line "Okay!" After Holly said: "Julia, take that veil off!" no one laughed (and I felt like I had to laugh, so when I laughed I was basically the only one laughing and I felt retarded... and everyone was looking at me... i'm turning red... i'm gonna stop now)But when Laura does it people laugh. It's so weird. They say the SAME thing. Weird... yeah.
Rita: She is incredible. Her timing on all of her jokes are perfect. And during "Move That Thang" I lost it completly. I was dying of laughter and my stomach hurt so much after that.
Kevin: AMAZING. That's about it. Just kidding During "George's Prayer" I lost it more than I did when I was watching "Move That Thang" and I almost ended up on the floor because I was laughing so hard. Also when he says "This is even worse that I thought! Robbie is suffering from Post Traumatic Perception Syndrome" Sammy: "What?!" George: "It's what happend to Luke on General Hospital!" The audience went insane during that, "George's Prayer" and "Today You Are A Man" I can't even say how amazing he is. He's just amazing... and he is soo nice.
Constantine: He surprised me the first time I saw him perform (October 8th). But now i'm getting used to him and I think he is soo good for this role. His accent is perfect and everything else is really great. I do miss Matthew and everything, don't get me wrong. But Constantine is VERY good.
Richard: Even though he plays a lieing and cheating asshole, he does it GREAT. He is really talented and he has a great voice. But what really gets on my nerves is that all of his lines are so.. cheesy. It's annoying sometimes. But he delivers each line perfectly. Which is good.
Felicia: Woah, she is incredible. She fills the whole room with energy and the audience dies of laughter and she completly steals the show. I love it.
Amy: I love her. She is perfect for the role in my opionion. There's not one time when she said something and someone in the audience DIDN'T laugh.
Songs:
It's You Wedding Day: It filled the room with energy and kept the energy level up throughout the whole entire show. The audience really loved it.
Someday: I Laura and Tina are really good at singing it. I think I like them both equally. If I had to decide which one I like more playing Julia in the role I could never decide.
A Note From Linda: Every single person was laughing when she said: "Dot dot dot, smiley face". The people in back of me were hysterical. It was annoying because their laughter was the most obnoxious thing I have ever heard in my life.
Pop: When Angie says: "... a little fake pregnancy" and Julia says her line about Glen being smarter than "Dad" it didn't get a lot of laughs. Usually it gets an o.k response. But for whatever reason... it didn't.
Somebody Kill Me: It KILLED the audience. Everyone was laughing. And I was so happy seeing the audience enjoy it.
A Note From Grandma: Rita only said "Skanky" and everyone was hysterical. When she finished her line THEN everyone was really hysterical and gave her a great round of applause.
Casualty Of Love: When Stephen and the "Mutants At Table 9" broke into their "Thriller" dance EVERYONE (especially the people in back of me) was laughing.
My hands are cold and they hurt so... i'm going to try and speed this up a little.
Come Out Of The Dumpster: Great. A little ad-libing done, which made it better.
Today You Are A Man: EVERYONE lost it and was hysterical.
George's Prayer: (See above )
Not That Kind Of Thing: Great, the only late reaction was when Stephen talks about the dress and he says: " What'd they do? Bedazzle this?!" .
Saturday Night In The City: A lot of energy. It was great. yeah.
All About The Green: In my option it's not exactly the best song to start off the seccond act with... but whatever.
Someday (Reprise): It was good. My hands are freezing! Why is it so cold in my house?
Right In Front Of Your Eyes: Amy and Constantine are great together. IS THE HEAT IN MY HOUSE EVEN ON?!? I'm yelling at myself. I am so weird.
Single: AMAZING
If I Told You: Very.. emotional. It almost made me cry. Aww!
Let Me Come Home: The energy level went up another notch.
If I Told You (Reprise): I don't know... it was very reprised? I have no idea what to say. It was good.
Move That Thang: I think I died laughing.
Grow Old With You: Great. The best part was when Peter said something and it set off this laughing chain with the cast. I don't know what he said. But he said something. The other best part was hearing the applause from the audience when the fake Tina Turner, Imelda Marcos, Billy Idol, Mr. T, Cindy Lauper, etc. came on and the audience went wild.
It's Your Wedding Day (Finale): I hate it when shows end. It makes me so sad .
Overall: I was effing incredible A++++++++++.
BTW: I'm seeing the show December 31st, anyone else going?
And, if you didn't see my icon yet. See it!
Edit: WOW! THIS REVIEW IS SOO LONG. I JUST RELIZED THAT. Updated On: 10/27/06 at 05:12 PM
"I turn around and I see Kevin and Constantine in costume"
haha, i deff saw this TWICE when i was there! the first time i wasnt expecting it and me and my friend saw those 2 and stephen go by, i just stared, i couldnt believe it, i felt like an idiot, lol. it was hilarious though, lol. and then they walked back by! then the next day i saw this again! i LOVE wedding singer lol.
thanks for the review!! i really enjoyed reading it. and i hope you get some heat in your house, lol. and yea, laura is just amazing! lol. sry, had to have a laura moment!
so im assuming you stage doored? did everyone come out and how were they? and was the crowd still insane for constantine?
I think everyone came out besides Felicia. I was too busy talking to Kevin... but I think everyone came out besides her.
When I was talking to Kevin (before I knew the news had been released to the public) I told him there was a rumon going around that the show was supposed to be closing Jan. 7th. And he's like: "No! It's closing December 31st." After that something in me just went insane and I couldn't stay and wait for Constantine so I turned around because I dropped my jacket. And all of a sudden I hear the loudest screaming I have ever heard in my life and I said: "I guess Constantine came out."
haha, yea, i didnt like when constantine came out, people just went too crazy.
and after the sunday mat, laura came out after constantine, and i think she decided not to sign cause he was there and nobody was there for her. well i stopped her! haha. I wanted to see HER!! lol

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...
"Every day has the potential to be the greatest day of your life." - Lin-Manuel Miranda
"And when Idina Menzel is singing, I'm always slightly worried that her teeth are going to jump out of her mouth and chase me." - Schmerg_the_Impaler
My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block
Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!
