No, those seats are great. A lot better than row 19 and they are almost center. So your on the side, but almost center.

I paid full price for the first time I saw it, thinking it would be sold out since it was a couple of days before opening night and I wanted to see it badly. I'm a big fan of the movie (one of my favorites that I can watch over and over) and Stephen Lynch. I read some Seattle reviews and was expecting the worst. But right when the curtain went up on all that energy, I was hooked. All the songs are fantastic.
When Amy Spanger rolled out on that platform with the water pipe, I said to myself, "No way are they doing this." And then she pulled the cord and it was like time stopped. My jaw hit the floor. I could not believe they did that. It sent my heart racing.
Being a complete sucker for great ballads, "If I Told You" really surprised me. And that scene just stuck in my head; Julia sitting on her window sill and Robbie "underneath," under a perfect shade of blue with stars above singing this fantastic song. It really gave me goosebumps. This scene is *the* scene that I eagerly awaited each time I viewed the show. I've only seen it 3 times. Damn me living in Los Angeles.
I was a little lost in the Vegas impersonation sequence because I didn't get all the references, but it was still a hoot. And the ending is such a high point. I'm glad they ended it with an upbeat party rather than the original romantic wedding.
I met all of the main cast at the stage door, missing only Mr. Saldivar and Mrs. Gardner. By the third viewing, I made it my mission to catch them before they left. I caught them quickly. They were very nice. The entire cast is so great and friendly.
Anyway, I listen to the OBC at least once daily because I love to sing along with it. I can't wait to see the show again.
Jim, you're not the only one who paid full price the first time they saw the show! Haha. It's 'cause I bought my ticket the first day they went on sale and then proceeded to kick myself when the discount on broadwaybox.com came out a few days later .... oh well. I thought the show was completely worth the $120 I ended up paying. :p
I've seen and been smiled at by both Laura and Rita, but never been able to say hi or anything. And I even caught (or.. dived for..? uh) Rita's towel when I saw the show! Ugh. Haha, oh well.
Stephen is the king of Broadway, no other leading man works as hard as he does 8/week.
Don't get me wrong, I adore Stephen and I think he is AMAZING at what he does in this show, but... well.. I'm a really, really big John Lloyd Young fan and would have to disagree with your statement. HAHA! BUT ANYWAY, this is a Wedding Singer thread (duh), so no Jersey Boys talk out of me...
Here's one more interview, and it's for Muscle23ftl and everyone else who's a big fan of Stephen Lynch, which I'll assume is a lot of folks on this 'Wedding Singer' appreciation thread. Playbill.com: 'The Leading Men' - Stephen Lynch
Actually I agree, both Stephen and John are the kings of Broadway. I wish Stephen had won, but the fact that John ended up taking the Award was absolutely deserved. He is very talented. I think Stephen shows off more of his acting skills in his role though.

The choosing was not...

Now, we're talkin' =) Amy! * Although I think that pic is a spoiler.

To Thespian Geek: Only time will tell if I get to interview a couple of the other terrifically talented guys in 'The Wedding Singer,' but if there's any news, I'll post it on this thread.
To Broadwaybaby221: Thanks for the compliment. And if you hadn't heard, Jacob has extended his stay at 'B&B' through Aug. 20.
I went to see it because of Tina, but really loved the show. The music, costumes, dancings....everything.
Tina took me backstage earlier in the day and gave me a tour and told me all the good stuff-I almost wish she didn't because Amy getting wet could have been even more shocking!
The cast is very nice. I really wanted to meet Stephen, but didn't want to be a crazy fan. So many people come in to compliment the cast. But Stephen was very nice when I met him.
And I caught to bouquet!!!
I absoluely am dying to see Tina. When I visited NYC, it was the week after she was on 3 times! What aweful luck.
