Who's Tina Maddigan? OH! You mean the pretty blonde girl singing with Kevin Kern in this picture? Hahaha.. I honestly don't know much about her other than she's the stand-by for Julia and was in Mamma Mia.
Tina Maddigan = GODDESS.
And Kevin Kern is one good looking man. Ugh.
Amen.

I'm.. actually not listening to the CD for once. GASP! But I have a sick habit of watching the Tony performance at least once a day. Can you tell I'm dying to see the show again? LOL
I listen to the cast recording of this show all the time. It's just so much fun...and it sticks in your head for quite awhile (which isn't a bad thing either). Love it.
I need to watch the Tony performance again soon. It was the best performance at the Tony's and I'm glad people noticed that and started seeing the show.
Tracee Beazer is one of the funniest ladies on Broadway. Such a talent, her funny lines in the show are worth the ticket price.

I watch the Tony performance and then sit there and wonder how the hell they didn't win for Best Choreography. I think my legs still hurt from trying to copy the opening number...everytime I see the show.

It deserved best choreography, no doubt. Also Amy Spanger deserved a nomination...at least.

I felt there were more people from Wedding Singer that deserved nominations, especially in the featured actress section, but that catagory was jam-packed full of talent. I'm not necessarily glad that Beth won, though... haha. Made me feel a certain someone was completely robbed for her comedic genius (*cough*MeganLawrence*cough*). But I digress! Amy and Felicia are both absolutely stand-out in this show and should have been recognized for it by the Tony committee. Oh well, not much we can do about it now except show 'em love!

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

i not only am chomping at the bit to see this show, but i would like very much to be in it, say for instance as the standby to robbie and glen
"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel
I think Amy should have got a nomination as well but as thespian geek pointed out, that category was full of wonderful, talented woman. And, as mentioned before, we can't do anything about it now. Still, we know how amazing Amy and Felicia are.
And because of this thread I've been listening to my TWS OBCR non-stop.
I'm still not sure why. Probably because I sat there on the second day of previews going "well this is going to be a complete waste of my time and I'm only seeing this for who is in it"
I eat my words. Love. Love. Love.
Now what would you say if today I started over?
Without a thing but this taped together four leaf clover
And I'll pretend like everything is already alright
And I'll run toward the sun till the castle's out of sight
You can be the standy-by (or u/s since Stephen nor Richard have a stand-by) for Glen, but not Robbie. :p
And LeaGirl, I honestly went to see it for who was in it, too.. especially considering by the time I'd seen the show, I had yet to see the movie. I didn't know if I'd like it or not since I'm not big on Adam Sandler films, you know? Oh man, was I wrong and RIDICULOUSLY glad about being wrong, too!
I try to copy the choreography too, vicariously.
The one time I tried to copy the opening number choreography, I broke a sweat within 3 seconds. That either means the the choregraphy is just THAT hard, or I'm horribly out of shape. .... Hm, I'll go with the latter.
You didn't see the movie before you saw the show? I didn't know that. The movie is amazing in itself. I know you're not a big Adam Sandler fan but god.
i loveee that flashdance part haha, that was just awesome.
i saw the movie after i saw the show and it just didn't do justice for me lol.
A dancer might dream to see her name in lights and mean it,
but all she really dreams is to make someone
else feel the way she did when she first saw a dancer.
And that is so beautiful-Anonymous
