There is no racism against white people.  Because the term racism denotes a power differential.  White people ALWAYS have the power.  Maybe that will change one day.  But right now, prejudice is the correct term.

I am assuming by everything you have ever written you are a white person.  How f'ing dare you to make any declaration on what is or isn't racism.  That is not up to a white person to define.  If Ms. Lewis says Patti was being racially microaggressive, then Patti was being racially microaggressive. Black people know things YOU DO NOT KNOW!!!!!  Your history is not theirs. Your perspective is not theirs. So just shut up and listen!!!!

I am as black as can be.  And I am telling you that you are completely full of it.   You do not know any of these people.  Ms Lewis could be the devil personified for all you know.  And stop telling people to shut up and listen.  That will never do anyone any good.  Conversation and back and forth in a inteligent manner are key.  Coming here and acting like Monique yelling at Oprah is ugly and will not do anyone any good.   Take your hands off your hips and drop the attitude.

If I was Patti LuPone and saw how ridiculous everyone was being, I wouldn't say anything either. What is there to say? It is embarrassing how people have carried on acting like she has done anything to warrant this kind of reaction. I never thought I'd see the day Dems would actually mobilize - I just didn't think it would be to abolish free speech.

The letter signed by those world-renowned artists has become a punchline outside of this tiny, incestuous industry. And LuPone was not wrong about the sound levels at HK.
