Isn't Jeremy Jordan going into Just In Time?
Very odd he'd only assumedly be doing it for a few weeks, in between Groff and Jordan.
Guess it's a decent paycheck though.
They already announced JJ for Just In Time. It’s for TITANIQUE.

As I mentioned in the other thread after listening to a recent podcast he was on, he wasn't interested in doing a full run of a show on Broadway because of his family. So a few weeks run would probably work for him.
We will find out soon enough.

It would be similar to when Morrison's Glee co-star Darren Criss stepped into How to Succeed for three weeks between the Radcliffe and Jonas runs

Could it be interim JIT prior to taking it on the road? It would presumably be a well-paying job...I would imagine that the road would welcome Mr. Shu and that he could sell a good number of non-subscription seats. I have no idea what money he has been making the past couple of years, but maybe he would welcome a steady and presumably pretty big weekly paycheck.

He has tour dates on the other side of the country scheduled up until literally Groff's final day. I guess it wouldn't be impossible to rehearse for the show before/in between his tour dates, just... silly.

“Cringe” is kind of Morrison’s whole brand these days.

Matt Morrison and Justin Timberlake both dove headfirst into the cringe pool and somehow synchronized.

Fair. The 9/11 interpretive dance gives me more of an ick.

If this is true, who the hell is handling the casting for TITANIQUE? Someone needs to do a welfare check on them.

Rumour in UK is Layton is coming over from the UK to do Titanique, I assume reprising his role as the iceberg

Yeah - looking at the Instagram post with the Darin vibes - and the fact that Jared Schonig - Just in Time's drummer "liked" it - I would guess that yes - he will be doing Bobby Darin for a few weeks. That's a huge role to just drop in for a couple weeks - I think Groff said he was actually offstage only for about 2 minutes during the entire show. Could be interesting if he pulls it off - I would bet that he can at least do the original choreography - not so sure about Jeremy Jordan :)

I love Layton, but that would be an unnecessary expenditure. You have so many NYC performers who can (and have) filled that role.

I can’t imagine anything worse than seeing Matthew Morrison in this show. Or any show now.

I'm not a Matt Morrison fan (see comments above) but I think he could actually be pretty funny in Titanique as Cal.
