I'm actually hoping for an intimate filming of the movie. At its heart, Miss Saigon is a very intimate piece. There are only two scenes that could use some epicness - The Fall of Saigon and The American Dream. Everything else should be small and focused.

Eddie Murphy can be the Engineer and Donny Osmond will be Chris
Wildcard, so do I. MISS SAIGON is the most personal of the big West End imports and it can be more moving when the spectacle is taken out and the focus is on the music and performances. The Signature Theater production is a very good example of how well a scaled down MISS SAIGON can work without the bells and whistles of the Drury Lane and Broadway Theatre incarnations.

Can we have this guy for Chris? Please please please? He'd be the right age now, and knows the role. Same costuming decisions as this production would be great. :)

You're thinking of Dean Geyer, not Colton Haynes
