This is brilliantly strange. And I love it.
I'm a little sad that this terrific Effie Pony wasn't even considered for the movie Dreamgirls. She really is a powerhouse, lip-syncing Diva.
And when Elphapony runs up that little ramp and defies gravity, well ... not a dry Eeyore in the house.
Had Jennifer Holiday been given a table with an ice cream sundae and chocolate cake to push over, I'm pretty sure the audience would have responded to her performance much better than they did.
I kinda wish I had a little Doobiepony to reeeeeeally enjoy that clip, mmmmmkay?
I just checked out one of the video responses to this clip on YouTube.
LOL
"It's All Over" from Dreamgirls. This guy cracks me up. Speaking of good lip-syncing.

Why isn't he my friend? I'd make him a cake.
Did anyone else notice that when elphapony "defies gravity" on the little ramp that her shadow on the curtain looks like its wearing a witch hat? That's some nice special effects.
This is great. Thanks Pal Joey. :)
Haha! That was TOO funny!

I can't help but wonder if the folks behind the "My Little Pony Live!" tour would love it as much as we do.

See if you can tell which one is the new cast member
I like them better doing show tunes.
Apparently, this has become such a YouTube sensation that they're afraid the management of My Little Pony Live, which also runs Sesame Street Live, will crack down on the rogue Ponies.
Those poor Ponies!

I like how they point out their little hooves from time to time for no apparent reason. It's like they hear a voice inside their head saying "strike a pose!"
Oh dear. The glue factory may be getting some new 'workers.'

Just found out tonight that the brother of one of my current cast members is Jennifer Holliday Pony!
And yes, even though the videos are actually a couple years old (at least the Dreamgirls one, he said the Wicked one must have been done after he left), they are getting a bit worried about the reaction once the people in the main office see it.
