"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I never imagined that Jenna Leigh Green would be such a good singer. Everytime I see her I just remember her as that bitch from "Sabrina the Teenaged Witch." She has an amazing voice.
As much as I hate to say it because I really despised the show -- Ashley Brown, currently starring in "On The Record" on tour. She's a recent CCM graduate.
Yes -- But it seems like often they just seemed like "trained amazing musical theatre robots" rather than real people. I think that applies to Ashley Brown --shes INCREDIBLE but she almost comes off as too trained. Dont jump on me for saying this - it certainly doesnt go for everyone, and I think CCMs training is great -- but it almost seems like some of these people are just so good that their personality is sucked out of them or something.
Razz, I'd agree. That program is great, but does have a real effect on the performers. There are so many successful grads from CCM, but very few of them stand out in my mind.
