Megan Hilty! I saw her as G(a)linda in WICKED and I was blown away. Another one of those Carnegie Melon "robots," but I absolutely adored her. I definitely think we'll be seeing more of her in years to come.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Jennifer Hope Wills and/or Michelle Federer in something new somewhere down the line. I saw Jennifer in Wonderful Town and I think she was the shows saving grace. And Michelle Federer, well come on!
"Somethin's comin', I don't know what it is but it is gonna be great!"
Heather Villaescusa (she might want to get a stage name....).
Saw her at Don't Tell Mama the Sunday of the Blizzard--she was a knockout! Strong, beautiful voice, sweet and funny banter and a rockin' body. (And honey, I'm like a 15 on Kinsey; this girl is HOT)
"They have never understood, and no reason that they should.
But if anybody could . . . " --SS
Megan Lewis from Forbidden Broadway. Great characters. Great voice.
Kerry L. Washington, Merle Dandridge and Caryn lyn Manuel were all wonderful from Rent.
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive.
"Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot."
"No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one."
Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.
Also, Michael Arden is not well known. He is obsessed over by people who have seen BARE or PIPPIN. Aside from Big River, that is. Believe me, as much as I obsess too, not a soul outside of a fairly tight group of people like us know who the heck he is. Sorry Michael.
Also, Jessica Grove is fantastic.
BDWAY11, You're whole list. I can't wait to see SJB on tour with Wicked. Jenna Leigh Green is phenomenal. Like it's said, the whole flippin' cast of BARE. Shoshana Bean is gonna shoot to the top. And Sara Gettelfinger is amazing!
Kevin Earley. He's been on Broadway but mostly regional so far. I spoke to him briefly a couple of months ago and told him I'd seen him in 6 different productions, and that he was going to be BIG! I take it he played Malcolm Gets' character's lover in the recent staged reading of My New Brain which (damn it!) I missed. Always looking forward to seeing him in new things.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

Yeah , Yeah, I know she had Dance of the Vampires, but that didn't last too long. I am so ready for Mandy Gonzalez to become a Broadway regular! She's done a few shows and is absolutely amazing. If West Side Story is being revived, I'd love to see her as Maria. Her vocal range is incredible, and her stylistic versatility is, in many cases, unheard of. She definitely boasts some strong acting chops as well. Hopefully her big break is just around the corner!
Bye!
