Does anyone know if there is a new RENT book in the works? I think they should do a stage to film behind the scenes one, similar to Broadway book. I think Anthony should pen it.
Just my 2 cents.

That would be cool.
I'm looking forward to the Behind The Scenes features on the DVD more than anything. You KNOW that is there's gonna be some amazing stuff.

They're probably gonna have the RENT blog vidoes on the behind the scenes footage.
Maybe they'll do POTO From stage to Film sepcial feature...showing clips of the original show.
That would so rock. I don't care how much it would cost....I would still buy it.
I really hope they do that. Like how Lord of the Rings has all those behind the scenes books. OK so RENT isn't quite as large scale as LotR but you get the idea. I'd buy it in a second if they published a new RENT book.
That would be awesome.
I could care less about a new book or the DVD features, I just hope the movie is quality and artistic. I'm afraid it's trying to be too mass-appealing and it's going to ruin the movie. The trailer makes it look like a romantic comedy.
I hope they do have behind the scene features! It's always neet to see how the pro's do it! Yeah!
yes there will be one, Anthony Rapp is at work on a book that is due soon about his memoirs of his days of RENT on Brodway, but not relevant to the movie i dont believe

Really? I disagree. It's going to be different from the stage show but I don't think the directors would or could change it that much.

I don't think the teaser makes it look like a romantic comedy. I saw the trailer in theaters today and my just said it looks good. Besides, that one was only a teaser.

Plus the teaser is meant to attract a different audience. They KNOW that all the theatre Rent fans are going to come and see it no matter how it looks in the teaser (which I think is good, and not too romantic comedyish). The teaser is meant to attract the (hopefully) millions of other people who *gasp, I know* may not have heard of Rent at all. So have hope!
