How are you in the queue? It's not showing me a queue. It's showing me the normal screen to buy tickets, but when I click "find tickets", it freezes."
It’s not a queue for the show, it’s a queue to use telecharge at all. It’s happening no matter what show I try to look for tickets.
I am just gonna wait and check back this afternoon and go with whatever they have available at this point.

Do you think Ben Platt will do 8 shows a week…I remember in his DEH run he used to do 7 shows…or am I mistaken?
Now it makes sense. Thanks, Jordan! I'm just gonna wait and check back in like an hour or so.

I clicked Get Tickets on the website and took me to telecharge and put me in a virtual waiting room. It says I have more than an hour

I am pretty sure he did 8. He had good attendance for the majority of it, but think he started having issues near the end.
Am I going crazy, or in that video for "This is Not Over Yet" does Ben Platt sound like he's putting on an accent of some sort? I don't remember that from any of the City Centre preview material

Ben Platt did 8 performances a week from when it opened in November 2016 through August 2017, when Michael Lee Brown was made his official alternate for Wednesday and Sunday Matinees. So he did 8 performances a week for 9 months and then 6 performances a week for 3 months.
Also if anyone is wondering, I have heard the Box office at the Jacobs is open and selling tickets if you don't want to pay telecharge fees or wait on this crazy queue.
UGH! I got to the ticket selection, I put my information in, I click buy ticket, it was slow and what happens? It KICKS ME OFF! Telecharge needs to fix their system! This is ridiculous!

And now the queue is paused. So I'm in a queue for the queue apparently. Nice website
Yeah, this will be completely sold out!
For what it’s worth, I went to search for Parade tickets (just to get an idea of prices to see if there’s any feasible chance of me affording them&hellip and I get a virtual waiting room page. So out of curiosity I clicked on a few other shows and the ticket page came up with no problem.

Telecharge won't even open for me, and my queue is still paused. Hoping it comes back up later today and I can hopefully get some tickets to this. I only have a couple open dates.

Telecharge is a prehistoric website that's still run by dinosaurs. Mind-boggling that it still exists in its current form & that some of us of the theatre world have been so conditioned to its weirdnesses –– including an entirely separate website for discount tix.
I don't know how much Roundabout invested in "Criterion Ticketing" (new ticketing site for rental tenants), run through Tessitura, but it's a MUCH more slick and user-friendly interface, and better for mobile too.
Color me SHOCKED! The demand for tickets is insane. This run will be sold out today! I knew it would sell well, but I didn't know it would be like trying to get a ticket for T-Swift. ROTFL!

Yep, I used it to buy tickets to Pictures From Home. I got so used to Telecharge not letting me see a live seating map for show on mobile that I was almost taken aback by it

I believe he stopped doing matinees only late in his run. And while difficult, Leo’s not as taxing of a role as Evan, and he’s attached to this show for much less time. I think he’ll do all 8.

I gather some of this is a Telecharge glitch overall. Yes, there's some demand for PARADE, but the whole site seems to be messed up today.
Telecharge being down has nothing to do with PARADE. The difficulty getting tickets isn't due to demand - it's due to technical issues with Telecharge at large.
It's not about to sell out a six month run in a day.
I had access earlier but was not sure which date to choose. By the time I had a date, it was too late! Hopefully, the website will be back up and I will take whatever seats that have. I am not missing this show!

For those who saw this at City Center, is Ben good? I'm not a big fan of his but I love the show. Is it worth getting tickets for?

I hope you're right about this!
I'm not a massive Platt fan but it astounds me how many people on this board refuse to admit he is popular amongst the broadway crowd and can very easily sell this show for the whole run. I just bought Kimberly tickets no problem on Telecharge so clearly the reason for delay is the demand for Parade.

When Telecharge gets back up and running properly, there will be a lot more seats left than some people here are thinking. The first shows will be more limited, but 6 months will not be sold out.

I am a big fan, but he really is a perfect fit for the role. Both of the leads were very good.
