Morning Glow is changing my life right now.
This is the best recording in a long, long time. Its so beautiful.
Also! Bravo to those of us singing on 'No Time at All'!! We sound fantastic and you can tell how much energy was in that room. All the harmonies are overwhelming and I'm so glad I got to share that experience with some of you guys.

Patina sounds incredible.. an excellent recording.
I love it and I'm glad we finally have a new Pippin cast recording, but I'm not a fan of fade outs and I hate the way they fade out "Spread a Little Sunshine" and Matthew's section of the "Finale" which is a nice nod to the OBC recording, but that's not the arrangement they're using on stage and I would have preferred that.
Other than that, Patina sounds great and I'm glad they included the "Manson Trio" dance break and the music after "With You." It's a great recording to be sure, but it could have been better. I'll never understand the urge to fade out songs on cast recordings.
IT'S BRILLIANT! I am completely overwhelmed listening to this, especially "No Time At All." Very proud (and jealous!) of all of you who got to be there! Patina sounds fabulous and I'm realizing just how much I love the entire cast and every song. Can't wait till I get to Morning Glow... <3
I already adore this! But there are a few issues:
-No Prayer For A Duck
-Fading out of Spread A Little Sunshine
But I don't mind the Fading in the Finale as it sort of flows into the Reprise of Corner of the Sky (And I must say that is one of my favourite parts of the recording, very eerie and powerful!
^I'm also a little perplexed as to why they didn't include the "Ta-Dah" after the "Manson Trio" dance. I get that we can't actually see them dancing, so maybe that's why they chose not to, but it's so iconic! It's almost naked with out it.
I was worried about about how No Time At All would come out, but it's great.
Maybe I'm hard of hearing from years of attending concerts. I can't make out some of the new lines in "War is a Science." It's the ones that come after "I'm certain the majority of blood that you will spatter..."
Could use some help with that.
wow haven't seen this show, but Patina is wonderful! They need to cast her as Genie in Aladdin.
This recording is GENIUS!!!!! I love it so much. I am so glad I saw this show. I wish (of course) they would've included dialogue from the finale but it would be a spoiler and give everything away. This made me want to buy the OCR.

I absolutely cannot stand Patina's voice. More specifically, her vibrato. Chill out girl!
Figured out most of the "War is a Science" lines (thanks for the help, btw), but I'm still missing one. What is the line that ends with the word "collateral"?
^I hear "Will be their (or fair?) to just a minimum of damage that's collateral."
I can't really make out the rest of it. What did you get for the lines after that?

This is what I have:
"A GENERAL ACCEPTS THAT WAR IS HELL OR EVEN WORSE
HE MUST NEVER BE TOO CAUTIOUS OR CASUALTY-AVERSE
I’M CERTAIN THE MAJORITY OF BLOOD THAT YOU WILL SPATTER
WILL BE (??) TO JUST A MINIMUM OF DAMAGE (??) COLLATERAL
BUT WE KNOW FOR SUCCESS, WE MUST ALWAYS PAY A PRICE
THAT’S WHY, FOR MY SUCCESS, YOU MUST SACRIFICE.
AND THEN, AND THEN
AND GENTLEMEN, AND THEN..."
My only gripe has already been stated and thats the fade out on Spread a Little Sunshine. Normally I wouldnt care but I felt like that number which normally doesnt thrill me was a show stopper in this production. Had it ended the way it does in the show and had some more of the dance music I think it would have come across as it did on stage. Otherwise the recording is excellent!

morning glow on repeat. amazing.
I am saddened that they cut the "crown dance" from the song and the fading out in the end. Otherwise it really is top notch.

^I would have cried if there were no fade outs. We would have finally had a flawless Pippin cast recording.
Listening again, I'm also not a fan of Matthew going for that high note at the end of "Morning Glow." Has he ever done that in the show?
Wow....I am loving this, too!
Question: On my iPhone, I can only seem to get Magic to Do -- has anyone succeeded in getting all the songs on their smart phone?

Was wondering the same thing, can't play this on my iphone.

There's an issue with the widget for mobile devices (you can see that the controls FWD/BWD don't even show up).
It's a consistent error in that the widget doesn't function on the Cinderella, Annie or Kinky Boots pages, either. Anybody try it on a Google or WIN phone?

CATSNYrevival do you mean that note for "morning glow is HERE" at the end? It definitely surprised me--I don't think he does that in the show. At least, he didn't do it when I saw it and he didn't do it in the mp3 I have (I think from the first preview or something). I don't hate it though.
I like most of it. The Finale is the only one I'm not crazy about. It sounds a little bland and I wish they would've left more dialog in. Maybe it will grow on me.
