Posted: 12/12/05 at 3:54pmI have seen two of the commercials.... Sara is most definitely in one of them.

Posted: 12/12/05 at 4:08pmwell let me tell you when I went to see DRS and was waiting at the stage door, she was the RUDEST cast member to come out and even said to my face that I was too gay for her to sign my playbill. What a bitch! :-P

Sara is a friend of a friend. I've encountered her several times and know she would never say something like that.
BTW-Is she expecting? She was looking a bit round at the Chita opening.

Posted: 12/12/05 at 4:12pmPerhaps, but for an insecure nobody from Texas it came across as the biggest slap in the face from someone that I thought was a fierce diva - she was too mean.

Wow I'll have to look out for her in the commercial, good to know.
I've talked to Sara quite a few times at the stage door and similar places and she's always been a sweetheart. She hugged me after the Secret Garden concert. I too find it impossible to believe she would say something like that.

Posted: 12/12/05 at 5:06pmShe was INCREDIBLY sweet at the promo CD signing, too. And I was one of the last ones to get my CD signed. They had been there for a long time and had a matinee to do. I told her how much I enjoyed her number and that I wished she had more to do in the show. She seemed to be genuinely flattered by my comments.

Posted: 12/12/05 at 5:15pmWhen I met her outside of the stage door at DRS, there were about 2 other people besides my brother and me there. She talked with us for about 15 minutes, hugged us, and was the sweetest thing ever. She was amazingly warm and friendly. And then she ran into some older man and started talking to him. She was so sweet.

oh now, no one would ever make up such a thing.
no one ever wants to stir up trouble.
(Still deadpan, but now with a glint of maliciousness in my eyes.)

Posted: 12/12/05 at 5:18pmHonestly - even if Sara were a shrew (which I don't believe she is) can you imagine ANYBODY in this business saying something like that? AND EXPECTING TO EVER WORK AGAIN?

#16re: Sara Gettlefinger
Posted: 12/12/05 at 5:31pmOh - I know who you ran into! It was Jolene Oakes, a tourist from Oklahoma. She looks just like Sara and believe me, she would definitely say something like that! (You should hear what she says about Jews!)

#19re: Sara Gettlefinger
Posted: 12/12/05 at 5:56pmShe is one of the sweetest cast members from ANY CAST I have ever met. I can't IMAGINE her saying something like that, and, if she did, Im sure it was sarcastic. Did she sign your playbill?

Posted: 12/12/05 at 6:36pmWAIT... in reference to my earlier post...... I didn't read it carefully....she did not say that, even as a joke.... Sara would NEVER say that...ever, ever ever not in a million years

well.... normally I'd give you the benefit of the doubt and say "maybe she said that sarcastically" but that is SOOOO not like her and I would consider that the shock of a lifetime if she said that.
She is THAT sweet.
