Good AND classy response!
Old. Perez is ALWAYS late with any and all Broadway information.
Good to see Perez loves to 'borrow' interviews. That section he uses is from BroadwayWorld.com.
Nice job not crediting where you 'borrowed' this from, Perez.
I was gonna say, he never credits BWW, the way he sets up the blurb it sounds like she's responding to his questions though I guess he does link to the interview on this site. Still, this guy is such a mess, ugh.
Love Scarlett, she's a class act and her Tony couldn't have been more deserved.
If you click "responded" it takes you to the BWW article. I guess that's his way of giving credit.
He certainly credited his source regarding the Alice Ripley stage door protest!
Seems to me actually linking to the source site is good enough. Certainly more effective than if he just mentioned it... And it routes people to the site without having the site's name having to appear on a PH page which may include doodles of pee and spooge...
So what do we think Perez's BroadwayWorld screen name is?
Rock on, Perez! Make these bitchy fags even more jealous of you.
And kudos to Scarlett for her classy speech. If she can sing, she can do "Barcelona" in a revival of "Company."
Too bad Perez isn't "intelligant" enough to praise her with the proper spelling of the word.
If Perez reads my email it won't be the last thing he writes about Hunter's "campaign."
Maybe he made up a word for someone who is intelligent and elegant.
..or maybe he's just a dumb ass.
A dumbass that knows there's no apostrophe in "Tonys".
Yet so enjoys MS Paint.
I sent him a link and articles about Huner Fosters stupid campaign yesterday lol
I think the only person who didn't deserve their Tony was Catherine Zeta-Jones, and that's only because I thought Montego Glover deserved it MORE.
I will pick theatre over film ANY DAY and I was not the least bit upset that the acting Tonys went to primarily film actors. We all have to 'pound the pavement,' as Scarlett put it. Everyone gave huge, awe-inspiring performances and should be rightly rewarded.
I think the only person who didn't deserve their Tony was Catherine Zeta-Jones, and that's only because I thought Montego Glover deserved it MORE.
Well you are in the minority with that one. People were saying if Montego won, it would go down as one of the weakest performance wins in history. The four other ladies were far more deserving than her.

Which is pretty much exactly my point.
It was the only category that I disagreed on, but that doesn't make Zeta-Jones any less deserving. I guess I worded that portion strangely. What I should have said was...
"I think the only person who I would have rather seen win than Catherine Zeta-Jones, who in my opinion, should have lost to Montego Glover. However, they both would have deserved it."
I agree ljay he is always late to get stuff like this, however he has been a bit busy being a bigger ahole than usual lately.
Has anyone read the comments under that article? They are hysterical. And yes, I agree Montego Glover did not deserve to win, but the other three ladies all deserved it more, especially Christiane Noll. And I have yet to see Fences but Jessica Hecht was far superior in A View From the Bridge then Scarlett Johansson. Not that I thought she was anywhere near awful, just outshone by Ms. Hecht.
I didn't even hear about the backlash. But I thought she was fantastic in 'A View From The Bridge.' Totally deserving of the award.
